Chicco, please take this back!

bubbles, Made for Mums
4 September 2009
  • Summary: We are really dissapointed and would not recommend this to anyone. We've written to chicco with feedback and are seriously considering buying and alternative as we are so unhappy with this highchair.
  • Pros: Looks good - nice, bright and colourful. Looks comfortable. Easy to set up. Net bag is useful. Like the removeable tray cover.
  • Cons: Not good for baby led weaning! It's a nightmare to clean, I have to dismantle it after each meal!! Getting the tray on and off is not the easiest thing to do. Its has a joint in it which traps food and lets water in when you wash it, you have to unscrew it to clean it propoerly! Food gets stuck i...

Too bulky. Hard to clean. Heavy to move around (even when it has wheels).

GR, Made for Mums
1 September 2009
  • Summary: I bought this highchair because I liked the features and the design. However, I was very disappointed with the quality. My biggest disappointment was the size though. It's so big that we always tripped over.
  • Pros: Design looks great. It has lots of features that other highchairs don't have such as parent's tray, toy storage, wheels, removable tray.
  • Cons: It has lots of features to get broken! My tray got broken very easily and customer service was horrible. By the time I've got a replacement, I didn't need the chair anymore! Even though it has wheels to move around, it only moves in 1 direction so you end up lifting it and it's quite heavy. It is...

Good looking comfortable chair but functionality average

anonym, Dooyoo
28 January 2015
  • Excerpt: We bought this chair for our 6 month old daughter as it looked really sturdy, colourful and had lots of options for adjusting it. Overall it is a good chair, lovely design, however sometimes it doesn't seem properly thought through from a functional point of view.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Colourful, Sturdy
  • Cons: "Not excellent value for money", "Little side tray not useful", "Seat padding not easy to get off to wash", "Awkward when folded"

Pain to clean

vita bernotaite, Amazon
30 June 2014
  • Summary: I am writing this review after having this chair for almost 6 months. At first I liked it a lot. Even though it is quite bulky, but our apartment is big, so no problems with it taking a lot of space. But when the real weaning started, then I saw how hard is to clean it.

Good but large and heavy

Gintare, Amazon
11 May 2014
  • Summary: It is a safe and stable highchair, however has few downsides, it is quite large, heavy and not very convenient to move around the room. If you have a small kitchen I would look for more petite highchair :)

Very Bulky and a pain to clean

BookWorm27, Amazon
20 December 2013
  • Summary: I loved this when it first came, so pretty and easy to assemble, but...........it's HUGE! It's a complete pain to clean as food gets lost in all the nooks and crannies and in the creases of the insert.

Nice quality but a bit big

katiejsun, Amazon
7 August 2013
  • Summary: I saw this and loved the fact that it comes with different height settings and insert to support babies when they are small. The tray is very big and can be difficult to attach at the back and store away but once you get used to it its ok.

Ok but not great

Emily, Amazon
14 July 2013
  • Summary: Great for adjusting height and recline, but the post that stops baby's slipping down is on the tray and we don't use the tray much. Even when sitting well and strapped in baby still slips down. Not as good as my old mamas and papas one I had for my 1st. Slightly more flimsy.

" Great for baby who can't yet sit unaided but you'll soon trade it in!…"

CourtsControversy, Mumsnet
23 December 2012
  • Excerpt: The only real benefit of this chair is that you can use it pre-6 months or whenever you start to wean as the pads support a younger baby. All the extras like a basket and height adjustable I just didn't use, and the seat pads are the most unhygienic concept for a highchair.
