Summary: I am writing this after one year of using the polly high chair. I was very glad when the chair arrived: very pretty and very comfortable and sturdy to use for small babies. However as the months passed by I realised how 1) HUGE this chair is and so hard to move 2) difficult it is to clean!! I did the mistake to put it in the shower and now it just stinks, I guess it cant really get dry due to the cushions inside. But the biggest problem really is that it is so bulky.
Summary: A very stable and pretty highchair. But has two major flaws. First, it is very difficult to clean. There are lots of little folds on the seat and the food gets in easily. I am using a nail brush to get all the leftovers out. Second, after 6 months of use the top padded jacket got torn around the harness. My toddler doesn't sit still in the chair but it is rather incredible that a bit of wriggling resulted in fast and permanent damage to the seat.
Summary: I bought this chair because of the reviews. I think I should point out that although it's a decent chair I don't like the set up of the extra padded insert. It's fiddly to fix and slips about as you try to put the little one into the chair. It's also difficult to keep clean because of the seat arrangement. The foot rest protrudes when it's folded which is a nuisance and the tray has to be removed when folded which you then have to store.
A wonderfully comfortable and supportive highchair - completely unsuitable for its primary purpose!

Excerpt: I hadn't planned on buying a big, bulky highchair for my youngest son but, when a colleague offered me one that she didn't need anymore, it seemed rude to refuse. The highchair in question was this Chicco Polly Magic chair which costs anywhere up to £150 from retailers such as Mothercare and Kiddicare. It is available in a range of colours and designs, with ours being a retro style yellow and grey design.
Excerpt: After lots of research we decided to buy this chair and I feel like it was a big mistake. There are some good features of the chair Like the adjustable height The removable tray on the table The well padded seat which means I could safely put my 4month old baby in it (although for safety I am sure it said to be used for 6mths upwards). The seat reclines which means my little one has slept in it. However I feel it was a waste of money.
Conclusion: tuvimos que limpiar todo la silla porque estaba llena de comida pegada por todos lados. muy desagradable. ya que se trata de un producto de bebe donde hay que mantenerlos en lugares limpios.
