Great Foundation

Beto, B&H Photo
19 April 2015
  • Excerpt: Our Entertainment room is small so I would offer that qualification. Having said that I can find no fault with this speaker. It has nice definition and stays out of the way of the other musical or soundtrack ingredients. In other words it's not so boomy that it covers everything else up.

perfect size sub

mike, B&H Photo
22 February 2015
  • Excerpt: Needed a small sub for bedroom surround system. This sub fit under our dresser. Had to place it on a thin piece of plywood to keep it up out of the carpet. It doesn't have the room shaking ability of a larger more powerful sub but I wasn't expecting that. Adds a nice tight bass to our system.
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality

Perfect For Me

Peter, B&H Photo
9 February 2015
  • Excerpt: Needed a couple of compact sub-woofers to add some warm bass to Sonos system that really doesn't get cranked up a lot. Didn't want to spend a fortune but still wanted something passable. These have made the grade.
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound Quality

Not bad....Not bad at all.....

  • Excerpt: I needed to replace an outdated passive subwoofer with a powered one when I bought a new receiver. So far this Yamaha has performed admirably and fits nicely into the cabinet. It is responsive to the lowest of the lows and not too boomy.

Just what I needed

K. Brown, Amazon
31 December 2014
  • Summary: I'll start by saying, I'm not an audiophile, though I used to own some pretty high-end equipment. I gave this five stars because it perfectly filled my needs. My media center is in an alcove that measures about 52" wide which is just enough for a small cabinet and a 55" diagonal TV.

Fine addition to bookshelf speakers

exrelayman, Amazon
18 December 2014
  • Summary: Performs up to expectations. The volume control is indeed a bit touchy - the line between excellent and boomy is very thin, but with a bit of care can be managed to a set and forget location.

Works For Me

JMP100, Amazon
6 October 2014
  • Summary: I picked this up to add a little more low end to my stereo in addition with my mid 70s Infinity Quantum Juniors. The Jrs are a 3 way ribbon tweeter, mid dome and 12 woofer. Fantastic speakers, audiophile in their day.

I am happy with this subwoofer purchase

S. Jones "sjones301", Amazon
20 September 2014
  • Summary: I am happy with this subwoofer purchase. I currently have a 6.0 surround sound system but the two fronts are larger infinitiy speakers with 5" woofers in them. They can product some lows but I was looking for a bit more. I didn't want a larger sub cause I just don't have the floor space for it.

Nice Little Sub

froejoe, B&H Photo
3 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I purchased this unit to supplement my stereo receiver, which has a TV, Apple TV, HD box, and BluRay device connected to it . I wanted something that would fit inside the TV stand that houses the receiver and other devices. This sub complements my bookshelf speakers nicely.

Good Value

Crmwill, B&H Photo
9 May 2014
  • Excerpt: This subwoofer is good for the money. I purchased it to fit in a tight space and it gets the job done. It is what I expected but will probably be upgraded to a larger more powerful sub down the road. The sub does great on TV and movies, but lacks a little on music as expected.
