Wharfedale SW380

The Wharfedale SW380 features 15 inches bass, 600 Watts Amplifier Power, Phase adjustment: 0-180 switchable, 10 Ohm input impedance, 35 Hz to 95 Hz, 120 dB, Filter bypass switch, line and high level inputs, full remote control and full front display.

Features

The Wharfedale SW380 features ‘Tri-Lam’ microprocessor technology which driver is able to deliver bass with low distortion. ‘Tri-Lam’ cone uses a combination of carbon fibre and glass fibre which allows low energy losses and eliminate the ‘muddy’ delays associated with lesser cone materials. This subwoofer comes with Class AB amplifier which provides low distortion, a lot of headroom and a high internal electrical damping factor that gives control accuracy to the speaker. The class AB amplifier topology is said to have enough power to satisfy the most demanding systems and soundtracks. The Wharfedale SW380 uses an advanced microprocessor controlled analogue low-pass filter section for sonic performance with a low noise floor. The 24 dB per octave filter slopes ensure clean integration with full range systems in a wide range of applications to minimize frequency overlap. Low-pass frequencies are adjustable across six settings in 10 Hz steps from 35-85 Hz. This subwoofer is able to switch all filters off and control its signal with A/V processor controls. The Wharfedale SW380 features four memory settings which can be used to store all the calibration information for a range of uses and these can be recalled at the press at a button. The full function remote control provides user-friendly interface for set-up and adjustment. In addition to this, the full system can be set up using the display on the subwoofer and the settings can be accessed without moving any furniture or the rear panel.

Additional features

The Wharfedale SW380 offers 0-180 degree phase switch, filter bypass switch and line and high level inputs. This subwoofer is recommended for partnering even with extremely high-end loudspeaker systems. It is measured at ( H x W x D ) 18.3 x 22.4 x 22.4 inches.
