Summary: I didn't read the specs before it arrived. HUGE! 20 inches tall AND 39 pounds! I am sure it's a good sub woofer, but as a 60 year old (i consider myself pretty hep & with it...lol) it was WAYYYY too much base... heart pounding even on low volume. Only tried it three times and have now returned.
Summary: I purchased this to go with the PlayBar, but ended up returning the Sub. It was overpowering the 16 x 16 room. When I turned the Sub down to prevent ear fatigue, there were low parts of the music I felt were missing compared to listening to the Playbar alone.
Pros: Really helps the low notes of the music when paired with Play 1's.
Cons: felt it overpowered the Playbar Bass gets very deep, I noticed my ears would be sore after listening to music (some people my consider this a plus) Price
Summary: Except when watching movies, the Sonos subwoofer was largely an annoyance due to sporadic low frequency audio that broadcasters seem not to monitor and allow to pass through to viewers. When listening to classical music, the sub was also overkill and barely used.
Summary: The sub works fine for what it is. You can't just review the Sub w/o reviewing the whole Sono's architecture. I purchased the playbar first. Worked well. It was easy to install and had a pretty good sound.
Excerpt: ON SONOS GENERALLY: The good: Most of the time I LOVE my Sonos system. I use Sonos in 7 locations in my very large appointment. It's the only solution I was able to find that kept music synchronized in all rooms, and I think Sonos has done an excellent job on linking to your private music library...
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Highly Addictive - But could've Bought a Decent 2nd Hand Car Instead

Summary: 1 or 5 stars depending on your thoughts. So I bought a Play 1 based upon a Which? Magazine best buy review. Then I got into Spotify and discovered loads of stuff I hadn't heard for years despite my extensive mp3 collection. And more new stuff I could fill my boot with.
Kann sehr viel, aber nur mit dem richtigen TV-Gerät

Summary: Wir haben die komplette Sonos Soundanlage zunächst an unseren (Bestands-) Fernseher (Mittelklasse, 4 Jahre alt) angeschlossen -> grosse Enttäuschung, da wir immerhin 2.000 EUR in den Sound investiert hatten.
