Summary: I have a full Polk 7.2 setup and I have two of these incredible units. The base is crisp and clear with low distortion at high volumes. I would definitely recommend this sub-woofer to anyone looking to beef up their current setup.
Summary: I bought this sub used, in top condition I used it with my Denon AVC-2000 amp (unfiltered out) and a Yamaha RX-950 receiver which has a fixed crossover at 8o Hz into the sub out. I also had a chance to compare three subs, the Yamaha YST-SW215, the Energy EXL-S8, and the Onkyo SKW-150.
Summary: This is an excellent subwoofer and packs plenty enough punch for a small or midsize room. Don't let its size or or excellent pricing fool you or put you off. My previous subwoofer went poof and right away I did my research on the web and in stores. The Polk PSW-303 was always rated high for quality and performance. It did not disappoint..
Summary: Excellent performance with a small foot print. Outclasses subs twice it's size. The unit has performed flawlessly since day one, and performs perfectly in all aspects of music and home theatre. It handles rock, house rap, jazz, classical and movies. Rear controls are simple to operate and the long throw 8 inch is infinately adjustable. It can sound like a big twelve, a nice mid or both.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Powerful
