Summary: If it was taller, it would make a good end table. Maybe you can get some decent response out of it IF IT'S SITTING ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD. Other than that. i think my old Infinity Reference bookshelf speakers have this much bass. Certainly not what I'd expect from a company as well respected as Polk.
Summary: worst audio product i have ever purchased. sounded ok when it worked but after 12 uses the amp fried. now ive been dealing with polk cust. service which is terrible and amp is backordered so gonna be 2 months all together getting part back. steer clear if you like your money.
Summary: This Sub-woofer had great sound for the 10 minutes that it actually worked. It no longer powers up. I went to the garage and pulled up my 16 year old Sub woofer and hooked it up to replace this product. The old woofer still works after 16 years. I can't decide my favorite part of this experience. I would have to say that the product not working tops the fact that I had to pay the $30.00 to ship it back. Ridiculous.
Summary: BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased this sub a week ago and paid extra for a LFE Output. There was a base model (PSW100?) that was on sale on Amazon for $99 during black friday. I spent $35 bucks more to pick up the PSW110 model because it had a dedicated LFE output that would match the sub pre-out on my receiver - well at least that's what the picture of the back of the sub showed on Amazon.
Summary: The sound this speaker intentionally provides is quite good; but as soon as the power cord is connected to an AC source, there's an audible buzz, which can be heard anywhere in the room and is present as long as the power is connected. It was unacceptable and I returned it.
