Summary: Extremely popular Sub woofer. Suits my needs perfectly. Until you have a sufficient budget ($$$) to invest in larger Polk's or JBL's this will do the job until then. I have researched the heck out this category and nothing else will touch this model for the money. Small footprint, adequate power and hook-up connections. Reasonable low end response and will balance perfectly with other speakers whether 2.0,5.1 or 7.1 setup. Usually available for around $100 or so.
Summary: I was looking for a moderate sub woofer for my stero system. I noticed this and became interested...the review were good and the price was 50% off...somewhere around $100. I went to Best Buy hoping that I could give this a listen. They had about 10 subwoofers in their demo room however none sounded better and were higher priced. Sorry Amazon..
Summary: I'm not much into speakers, more of a headphone guy personally. I did, however, need a decent subwoofer to beef up my two studio monitors. The PSW10 is affordable while, at the same time, more than effective. The sub bass is solid and not distorted.
Summary: Very very happy with this. I don't know too much about speakers or subwoofers, but it sounds and looks great. Very happy. I have a matching set of RTI A3 bookshelf speakers. The system rattles the house without distortion.
Summary: I was weary about this unit as I read many reviews on it... I had to plug the subwoofer out on my receiver (Yamaha RX-V673) into the RIGHT input on the subwoofer amp. Set it to auto on, and adjusted it a bit. It gets quite loud quite quick Cons: Crossover and Volume are touchy, but if you're light fingered you'll find a quick balance in less than a minute. Just play something with consistent tones and music. Pros: Beautify cherry overlay on it.
Summary: I purchased this subwoofer to add a more dynamic bass and to suppliment my Polk Audio TSi100 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Cherry) . Running 'em through a vintage Pioneer SX-780 receiver. Sure the TSi100's sound awesome by themselves, but once you add this into the mix, you'll never go back. It's amazing how HUGE such a small pair of speakers can sound. I was hesitant at first to add a sub... best decision I've made in a very long time.
Summary: I bought this after my 10" JBL bit the dust. I am extremly impressed with the quality of the speaker it has great sound for about half the price of my JBL. Used together with my old school type stereo 150W Harmon Kardon powering 2 studio quality speakers the sub woofer adds the lower bass missing in my speakers. You can set it to shake everything from the wall or just add some deep bass. I love the way it sounds during Nascar's "Crank it up".
