Excerpt: I love this subwoofer for what I use it for in an average sized apartment room. I can't turn it up that loud because I'm afraid my neighbor will hear it downstairs and my apartment has good soundproofing. I'm no high tech expert but I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: This is an excellent product with a down-firing "dynamic" speaker. Its packaging includes cables and a jack for inputing a subwoofer signal from a single out plug into a dual, which the unit has in the rear with RCA type or hard wire.
Summary: I was looking for a sub for my son's bedroom system. I'm a JBL guy but have had horrible experiences (mostly amps fried) with all but the most expensive JBL model subs so for less expensive subs I've gone to Infinity and Polk.
Summary: I purchased this at a GREAT price and am extremely happy I did. For Home heater applications it really enhances the effects. Kinda hard to dial in but if you dont go overboard and boost it excessesly it brings out the lows that in my opinion make the movies feel more realistic.
Summary: This sub is great for what I bought it for, a sub to my main computer speakers. $88 seems like the price is right. I have crossover set at 80Hz so its really only effective from 40-80Hz at best. Corner loaded and volume set way way. Helps reinforce the lower octaves.
Summary: Great product but: it does not have a dedicated LFE input. You use either of the analog L/R inputs and adjust the crossover to maximum to get the LFE effect. Not shown, but it does have an attactive cover(grill) for the speaker. Overall very happy with the purchase.
