Summary: Makes me mad when you can buy an entire hometheater system with 5 speakers and DVD player that has a subwoofer thats sounds better for 300 bucks and I spent 170 for just a subwoofer that sounds crappy in comparison. I am not happy with this subwoofer but I deal with it because I don't want to spend anymore money on a better subwoofer.
Summary: iv had this sub for just over a year now, and after hours of trying to get it to sound good and blend in with a well balanced system, i cannot get this sub to match my speakers. At all freqs and all settings this sub isnt capable of performing in music, movies. or anything.. plus when you turn up the volume all you hear is air popping inside the port...
Summary: Bought this sub on Saturday April 3 to replace the 8' currently in my home theater. Boy was I disappointed. It went back on April 5/10. This might of had a bit lower bass but no where near the power as the 8" I already have. Save you self the trouble wait for something with more power, 50 watts just don't get the job done.
Summary: Unfortunately this subwoofer when I purchased it did not work properly. Part of the problem is that it isn't actually designed as a subwoofer, as it doesn't actually have a subwoofer input, it has speaker inputs and an RCA input and includes a 'work around' so you can use it with home theater equipment I'm not sure who they are actually expecting to use this if not for home theater. As a result you cannot get a clean signal into the subwoofer.
