Summary: I came to this subwoofer honestly. After investing $400 bucks into two passive in wall subwoofers I decided that the movie experience I was getting was just not worth it, so I went to my local big box stores and shopped for a small sub under $500 bucks. They all were pretty much horrible. I went online and researched small subwoofers (to blend into my home decor as a compromise to my lovely wife).
Summary: Not a lot of reviews on this product and as I never buy without reading them, I figure it is time to contribute. Searched quite a long while for a mid-priced high performance sub. I had pretty much settled on something by Martin Logan until I came across this one. Admittedly, it is a bit daunting when buying something without hearing it first or seeing it for that matter. As a side, I was put off that this product (Like almost everything else) is made in China.
Summary: This is an awesome little sub-woofer! It has great output in mid-sized rooms, hits low, and is easy to move around! I could not recommend this more for man-caves, apartments (be-careful though, the bass this little guy puts out is not "little" by any means), 2 channel setups (great tight controlled bass) and mid-sized home theaters!
Summary: This little sub out performed my Velodyne HGS 10. Don't let the number of watts fool you. This little sub puts out a huge amount of bass. I am very happy with the smooth box the fast responce of the woofer and the deep bass of the sub. I would buy another sub from outlaw audio. In fact I just purchased an OUTLAW LFM 1 and plan on putting it in my theater room as a second sub.
