Summary: This is the first sub that I have owned. I didn't want to shake the house, just to round sound out. I don't have a massive home theater setup, nor a huge room to try to fill. That said, this sub sounds really nice. It provides clean low-end sound, no buzzing or noise from the cabinet.
Summary: This is a shockingly good piece of kit for the price. It sounds very musical but still can hit deeply. The auto-on function works a lot better than my old Polk subwoofer. Very compact for a 10" subwoofer, and enough power to balance out my bookshelf speakers nicely.

Summary: This is a inexpensive entry unit into the residential sub-woofer market. I love it with qualifications. Summary: I bought this Martin Logan 300 Sub last week and have been using considerably this week and am very happy with my purchase. Summary: Bought to replace a 10" front firing subwoofer in my 12' by 14' living room thinking it might better spread the deeper bass around to different listening positions being downfiring, and I wasn't disappointed.
Summary: Highly doubtful that you'll find a better subwoofer for the price. It's a smallish subwoofer, 8-inch driver (downward firing and ported) and produces nice tight bass - which is exactly what I was looking for.
