Summary: See my review on the Def Tech BP-8060ST. Okay, I took my rock music collection to Best Buy today and listened to these Martin Logans and all I can say is BOOO!!! What did I not like? #1.Very directional speakers/sweet spotty like crazy bad; off axis you lose a lot of sound but I'm not sure that's all that bad considering how they sounded. #2.The midrange has peaks in the upper midrange, when turned up they sound thin, tiny, cheap, and hurt my ears.
Summary: I'd just like to say this about ML's. They have an incredibly flat response. They don't make your music enjoyable because the panels don't resonate enough sound. I'd buy five more sets of Infinity Speakers before I'd ever buy another pair of ML's, and still will not have spent as much as these overpriced speakers. I had a pair of Infinity Sterling series 2004's that were about the best speakers I ever purchased, for $169 a piece at that.
