Summary: Purchased from best buy and was pleased at first. Died within 3 months. Got another under warranty (and some tooth pulling @ bestbuy) and it died in about a year. Klipsch is not the company it once was. Stay away from their junk.
Summary: The subwoofer was delivered promptly and the unit appeared to be in new condition but is not working properly. I have not had a chance to have have a technician look at it as yet so unable to determine whether it is a minor or major issue.
Summary: This subwoofer is phenomenal. I used to have a cheap Samsung home-theater-in-a-box and it's sub would always snap and crackle when there was a lot of bass. This thing doesn't do that at all. It was a massive upgrade over that cheaper system. I paired it up with a set of Klipsch QUINTET 5.0 speakers and a nice Sony receiver; I couldn't be happier. For what it's worth, I used to sell home theater equipment for a living.
Summary: This sub has very good shake for what it costs. I am able to rattle the silverware in the drawer in our kitchen. The only issue that I have is a little bit creaking or rattling sound at certain frequencies but other than that it does what I wanted and added great depth to my system.
Summary: It was everything I hoped it would be! I've used it for about 1 month now and my wife and kids are in awe when it rumbles the room and furniture. I'm just a happy cool cat sitting on the couch loving 7.1 sound, smiling and laughing at its awesomeness! If you don't have the .1 in your home this will add a profound dimension that will be worth anything else you put in your theater.
Summary: We have already purchased this item once before...my son blew the sub once when watching a action movie...way too loud. We had it for years before though. We got it on Amazon for about half the price.
Summary: I immediately regretted buying this subwoofer as soon as I heard the bass it produced. I was shocked because all of my other Klipsch speakers (6 different bookshelf) sound outstanding in every way. However, this sub struggles to reproduce even moderately low frequencies and when it does, they are drowned out by the excessive high frequencies. Also, sometimes the amp would temporarily fail and then work the next day.
Summary: I see that there are a couple bad reviews about this sub. I went ahead and bought it anyway because I know klipsch quality. Now I've had velodyne and Polk subs in the past, I have to say this is the best sub I've ever owned. I broke it in with some normal tv and movie viewing and light music. Now that its warmed up when I play dub step it's so loud and tight that I have to keep the sub below half gain and 0 on my onkyo receiver.
Summary: What an amazing sub-woofer. As the saying goes "You get what you pay for." This is true for this sub. It fills the room with great lows. Perfect for TV, movies and sporting events. Watch a live concert and you will feel like you are there. This does well paired with a Deonon receiver and the Klipsch Quintet 5.0 speakers. I highly recommend this product. All that come and hear my surround sound system would agree.
