Summary: I have two different Klipsch subs, and I like the sound of this the best. There is a more full bass response throughout the sub's range, with perhaps a little less available extreme lows. All in all it is quite nice for movies and music and is all you need for a normal listening experience.. I also use a 10 inch down firing ported sub by Klipsch (the SW-450), which has a less full sound, but is slightly better in the lowest range, at least with my speaker placement.
huge bass, clear response, no distortion. Able to handle everything. Serious power.

Summary: Perfectly room-filling bass for movies, video games, and music. Okay, I picked up two of the RF-82 IIs from another deals site paired w/ the SW-310 Klipsch subwoofer. I have them hooked up with bi-amped Sewell Silverback 12 guage quality cables (purchased from Amazon), a Monster HTS-1600 power conditioner (purchased from Amazon), 1st Generation Sony PS3, Onkyo TX-515 (purchased from Amazon), and a 46" Sony Bravia XBR-7 tv.
Summary: Bought this subwoofer and was a little worried about the 10" woofer size. The subwoofer has plenty of low level bass for my application. A salesman at the door even commented on the quality of the bass it was putting out. Its not too big and blends right into my entertainment center.
Summary: Got this at the "sale" price as other sites went up - thank you Amazon.com partnerships. Huge sound in small box. Be careful though. Your ears will bleed at even 60%! Rich, full bodied. Other, more erudite technofiles have given you the reasons. Look no further than this one. The vendor was excellent and prompt.
Summary: I recently purchased the Klipsch SW310 and I love the tight bass which is perfect for music lovers. My friend have the RW12D which was huge and powerful bass. Initially I was planning to buy that from Newegg. But when I saw this sub for $499, it was a no brainer deal. There are few difference between RW12D and SW310. The SW310 has 2 passive radiator while the RW12D has a ported design.
Summary: The best sounding sub I have had so far! My favorite brand name too! This is the first time I have had any klipsch products before. So far so good. It goes great with a good home theater system like a Denon for example. It's great for both movies and music too! It has plenty of power to put out plenty of room shaking bass!
Summary: This is a thight little booming monster. I got it for a second sub to use with my 7.2 system and it works great. At first I thought about getting a matching sub but I decided to get a different one so I could hear a wider freq with the lows. It works for me.
Practically invisible to the eye, but it's sound "don't lie".

Summary: We purchased our first Klipsch speakers in 1977. A pair of Klipsch horns, a pair of La Scalas, and a Belle. All still work fine. We made an addition to the house and wanted to use it as a dedicated AV room. Considering the good luck we've experienced with Klipsch, we stuck with them. The SW310 is part of the system we put together: RB81 11 mains, RC62 11 center, RS52 11 surrounds, RB51 11 rear surrounds.
