Summary: I had originally bought only one sub for my music and surround sound. I added a second and it improved the all around sound. A lot of people have complained that the sub isn't good with certain music. I beg to differ. I listen to jazz,blues,r&b,pop,hip-hop,easy listening. All my music sounds great!!! I use them with the German made CANTON AV-950. The subs seem to bring out better sound from these very good speakers!! The bass is nice and tight.
Summary: this is by far the best sub for under a thousand i've heard many different subs and nothing comes close to this things SPL and clean sound the only thing that i found it doesn't like the 100hrz range but lets face if you are looking for a real subwoofer that is supposed to be felt not heard this is it
Summary: Bought this used and it was supposed to be like new, but it was only in very nice shape. Sounds good, but I wonder how a Supercube Reference or PB Ultra would compare (even if they are different price points).
Summary: Having my Klipsch sw115 now for 2 months i came across some reviews here thought i would try and duplicate what was being described and it took less than 2 minutes i turned my volume on my sub to 12 oclock took my Radio shack spl meter ran my test tones (manually) while setting my volume on my denon receiver i noticed i was plus 1 away from having the volume completely off and was near zero on my meter ok lets give this a try threw in Ironman blueray the first one first...
Summary: This subwoofer is BIG in size and sound. I've owned Klipsch 10" and 12" subs before, but this is by far the best subwoofer I've owned. Bought the wireless subwoofer adapter and it works flawlessly. Currently using it in a 7.1 setup with RF82, RC62, RS62 and RB81. The sound is intense!
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: This is my first set of Klipsch speakers and I must say it was long over due.... The subwoofer is massive and if you let it--it will vibrate the paint off the walls and shatter your windows. I am running everything with a Denon 4520 CI. I have the subwoofer connected with a Klipsch wireless subwoofer kit. I keep the controls to just less then half and the bass that flows out of this subwoofer is nothing short of amazing.
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: I have 2 of those. They are unbelievable for the price. Best use for home theater, does go down to 20 hz in my room with 1. No problem doing more than 120 dbs with 2 in my room. i owned a lot of subwoofers by the way, still have 1 Paradigm Servo-15 V2 in the Hi-Fi room. Very powerful for less than 1000$, that was not possible before to get that kind of performance at such a low price. Only ID companies could do that! Congratulation to Klipsch. I even ordered 2 more.
Summary: In my lpinion this subwoofer is trhing to compete with direct internet sales of subwoofers that are built alot better then this sub the cabinet is cheap and not as heavy as it would be if it was build the way a quality sub is built. And for the money it should have more then 400 watts of power.
Summary: This product delivers on its promise. A better manual and explanation of why left anf right input would have been nice. Also specs in the manual for enthusiasts would have been welcome. Otherwise if well defined bass is what you want and not one bass notes you have the right product.
