Summary: I have been wanting this sub for a while but I was waiting for it to go on sale. So when I saw it on amazon for $300 off the regular price, I couldn't resist. I already had two subs, the Klipsch sw 112 and 450 which together are impressive but I wanted to hear and feel what 18 hz was like and I was not disappointed. I have tried it with movies and music and the sound is awesome.

Summary: This subwoofer is a beast! I have not fully tested it, but preliminary indications tell me I am going to have trouble with the walls vibrating. My main reason for purchasing this sub was for the low frequency response down to 18 Hz to truly recreate the ground shaking like in the original "Jurassic Park". Too bad Klipsch is discontinuing is product.

Summary: BEST dollar per value in large room sub woofers. Period. Most of us are on a budget and cannot just go plop down $3k for a 15", air moving, computer corrected, ... Velodyne sub. I built my first power amp at 14, and have an all McIntosh/Klipsch Heritage system today at 60ish that is stunning in it's dynamics and punch. The mid-range is flowing plasma sweetness from those BIG horns at 104 SPL.
Summary: Bought this used and it was supposed to be like new, but it was only in very nice shape. Sounds good, but I wonder how a Supercube Reference or PB Ultra would compare (even if they are different price points).
Summary: Having my Klipsch SW115 now for 2 months, I came across some reviews here thought I would try and duplicate what was being described. It took less than 2 minutes, I turned my volume on my sub to 12 oclock, took my Radio shack spl meter ran my test tones (manually) while setting my volume on my denon receiver I noticed I was plus 1 away from having the volume completely off and was near zero on my meter, ok let's give this a try, threw in Ironman blueray the first one...
