Summary: At first I thought this sub woofer would be dominated by the 15" woofers in my Klipsch Chorus II's, but actually, I roll to them at 50 Hz and it's really smooth. My old sub delivered kind of an amorphous bass line, this one is clear and distinctive.
Summary: I use a Zvox 555 speaker for my family room television and decided to add a subwoofer since the base of the Zvox is somewhat limited. The Zvox - Klipsch subwoofer combination sounds like a complete surround sound system.
Pros: Sounds fantastic with a Zvox external TV speaker. Easy set-up with one cable connection.
Cons: It's a sizable speaker with a fairly large foot-print so make sure you have the room.
Summary: Purchased a Polk PSW110 back in June of 2012 & it quit working in April of this year. Contacted Crutchfield Tech. support & was sent a new amplifier, but that didn't fix the problem. Offered to take back the Polk for a full refund & I then selected the Klipsch which had a special purchase price.
Pros: Great special purchase price, more power than the Polk, my system sounds better than ever. Thanks Crutchfield.
Summary: This is a great sub-woofer in the less-expensive category. I tried another brand first, but had to return it because it caused severe FM radio interference -- a common problem with class D amplifiers if the input stage isn't designed correctly.
Pros: Auto-shutoff, lack of FM interference, multiple connection options, light weight, looks great.
Summary: I bought this klipsch powered sub-woofer to compliment my klipsch 3800 in wall surround sound system. It sounds great and really fulfills the deep bass sounds that was missing in my surround sound needed to augment movies.
Pros: Quick delivery from Crutchfield, very easy setup (I only needed a single RCA cable to connect it up to my surround stereo).
Cons: It was little larger than I envisioned, but it sits in the corner out of the way.
