Summary: This is my third subwoofer and by far the best I've heard. My home theater room is small, 12' X 14' this sub is a great fit for a small to medium sized room. The sound from this 10" sub is amazing, the response is very fast, I use it for movies along with 5 other Klipsch speakers. You can set it up for whatever your needs are with the controls located on top.
Summary: I'm a big fan of Klipsch and they are a great investment for the money. I bought a decent LG 5.1 surround sound system and started having trouble with the transmitter for the rear speakers immediately after I brought it home. After bringing it back to the store I talked to the rep and he had me check out a pair of Klipsch mid-range book shelf speakers, a center speaker along with this sub-woofer hooked up to a Yamaha receiver.
Summary: This product has been wonderful. I normally listen at low to mid volume ranges and this sub produces a solid base that fills the room. When you want to go loud, it is also excellent without the "boomy" base too many subs produce. If I ever need a second sub I will by Klipsch.
Summary: im not a cnet reviewer ..but one thing i can tell you ...... there is no better sub woofer than this one - Klipsch Reference Series RW-10d Subwoofer - 260 Watt ..no point buying a 100$ subwoofer , you might as well put that 100$ in your pocket ! this subwoofer is really very nice , i can hear the car engine, door slam sound , noise of water from the tap , rocky III boxing punches ...which i never heard before ! very nice and all my frnds were like wow !

Summary: I ordered from here(Amazon), but from another place----shipment was very fast, across the state in 3 days......so the the shipment was a 5 star. PROS - Hahaha! This sub can deliver, but not like people calling the cops, cause I don't live in a very close neighborhood. It has a control box on top of the sub so you can add more eq mode, low pass and phase to set just the right kind of settings you want. CONS - One of the cover pins broke, but no biggie.
Summary: Hooked this up to my 80 watt Yahama to try it out. Can't wait to hear it with my new Onkyo 110 watt 7.2 system that I'm putting together. The Onkyo will handle two of these, I might add a second later. I'm using Rf 62 towers and RS 42 side surrounds that I purchased from Sound Distributors through Amazon and this RW10, X 12's for wides, XB 10's for high's and rears and a XL 23 center. I got the sub and X series from Vann's also through Amazon.
Summary: This sub is very musical with dynamic range . A lot of subs in this price range are one note and loose . Meaning that they will make noise and a lot of it at one frequency . This sub plays very low and is smooth up to the THX recommended x-over point of 80 hz .The 10-D in my system is matched with Klipsch RC 62 II ,RB 62 II and the RS 41 II .The onboard electronic controls are very flexible of those that do not have a receiver with auto eq and x-over .
Summary: I've had this Sub for over a year now. I use it in a 400 sq. foot remodeled bar area in m basement. The bedrooms in my house are the second story. There have been a few nights where my wife has called me while she's in bed to turn down the sub. I don't even have the volume up that loud. The nice thing is, the volume control is on the sub so I just turn that down, and can leave the rest of the system as is. I love Klipsh speaker and refuse to buy any other speakers.
Summary: Just a thought, this thing is awesome. I live in an apartment, so the bass is too much sometimes, but as stated in other reviews, the volume is adjustable on the top buttons. I would recommend that you use your receiver to adjust the volume of the sub. This series is called "Reference" for a reason. (In my opinion) Try not to mess with any of the settings on the actual sub. I am using an Onkyo receiver that came with a combo with the Klipsh Icon Series.
Summary: I recently got the Energy Take Classic 5.1 surround sound speaker system. The subwoofer in that system however is only an 8 inch and was lacking the bass note that I was looking for. So I started looking around for a replacement. I stumbled on this one based off of the good reviews, the price, and the size. From what i've read on other sites, Klipsch got bought out by another company and now their products aren't up to the par that they use to be.
