Summary: This is my third subwoofer and by far the best I've heard. My home theater room is small, 12' X 14' this sub is a great fit for a small to medium sized room. The sound from this 10" sub is amazing, the response is very fast, I use it for movies along with 5 other Klipsch speakers. You can set it up for whatever your needs are with the controls located on top.
Summary: I'm a big fan of Klipsch and they are a great investment for the money. I bought a decent LG 5.1 surround sound system and started having trouble with the transmitter for the rear speakers immediately after I brought it home. After bringing it back to the store I talked to the rep and he had me check out a pair of Klipsch mid-range book shelf speakers, a center speaker along with this sub-woofer hooked up to a Yamaha receiver.
Summary: This sub is very musical with dynamic range . A lot of subs in this price range are one note and loose . Meaning that they will make noise and a lot of it at one frequency . This sub plays very low and is smooth up to the THX recommended x-over point of 80 hz .The 10-D in my system is matched with Klipsch RC 62 II ,RB 62 II and the RS 41 II .The onboard electronic controls are very flexible of those that do not have a receiver with auto eq and x-over .
Summary: This RW-10 replaces an older off-brand unit, as it's time to upgrade A/V components. The performance versus price is quite good, making this unit one to seriously consider in the price range. It is solidly built, easy to set-up, the inclusion of some controls to tailor its response is a welcome plus. This reduces having to fool around with the receiver to set-up the sub to your liking.
Summary: I use this subwoofer to replace the sub that came with my Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 speaker. I have the satellites along with the subwoofer hooked up to a Yamaha receiver. Delivers big thumpy bass. I knocked off a star because of picky picky placement to get optimal bass. Also, the bass is not as tight as the promedia subwoofer (although this sub can go MUCH louder!
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: The RW-10D sub complements my system, I'm using RF-62 Fronts, RC-3 Center, RF-3 Surround and now the RW-10D Sub. I was getting nice bass out of the RF-62's but now with the Sub, my system rocks. I listen to a variety of music including classical. The bass really feels deep and clean. It can also be tailored to your preference.
Pros: Attractive Design, Deep Bass Shakes walls, Easy Setup, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
