Pros: This is a nice little sub woofer. Its now part of a Klipsch Synergy F20, C20, S20 system. It works well in my 12x18 LR. It replaced a Kenwood 160w 8" front firing sub. Its sound is much tighter than the Kenwood. Made use of phase switch immediately and the auto off feature is great.
Summary: This is my first subwoofer ever so I cannot compare the sound with other products of similar price. At first, I was looking at products costing $1,000+ but they were all too big and 80lb+ heavy. I hope this one will play for many years to come..
Pros: A very solid well defined bass for the money I paid. The subwoofer is compact and unobtrusive enough for our small (12'x15') living room.
Cons: The instructions for set-up were rather sporadic.
Summary: I have had several setups on subs and I am very satisfied with this one. I had to work with my Yamaha receiver to get it playing right after the auto setup and make some adjustments on the sub also. But I am very impressed with it especially for the price. I would recommend it. You may have to work with settings like I did but it is well worth the money and time...
Pros: Amazing bass when setup correctly with your receiver. Great price and out performs others I paid three times as much for.
Cons: Looks small compared to others I have had but outperforms them. So I would have to say I have no cons at this time...
Summary: The Klipsch KW-100, has been the perfect addition to my Klipsch Surround Sound system in my Kitchen-Family Area, This Subwoofer replaces the original unit that came with this System many years ago. I could not be MORE pleased with its Performance and my purchase.
