Summary: My KEF C4 Sub came with one of the less popular speaker sets from KEF (white eggs). I thought I would review the sub separately for those who are shopping for just a sub. The C4 is a small, unobtrusive 8" sub that is boasts an external volume control, along with an external crossover.
Summary: Satellite Speakers: The satellite speakers are solid aluminum, are painted with high quality high gloss white paint. A well-kept secret is that if you gently remove the bottom plastic piece with a putty knife, a 4mm screw hole for mounting is revealed!
Summary: OMG these blow bose or other brands out of the water. I have them hooked up with a yamaha 473 and they sound absolutely great! You can hear every little detail and the bass is amazing. These speakers can shake the house if I crank them up all the way.
Summary: This came with the Kef C1 5.1 system I bought, but this sub alone had no reviews, so I thought I'd add one. This sub is alright, but for the price you could do a lot better. I originally bought a BIC F12 and then got the 5.1 system on sale for about $350, so the set was actually cheaper than the sub...
All KEF speakers are a little more expensive than others.

Summary: Price apart in my personal opinion as a serious listener KEF speakers are about the best one can get within a reasonable budget. However the price of the Reference 207 is unaffordable for me. The Kef C4 Subwoofer purchased from AMAZON is Great.
Summary: I did not buy my C4 Subwoofer from Amazon but I did get it new and paid $275-$300 for it. I already have 4 C3's and a C6 LCR for my center speaker in my 5.1 system. I have paired all these items with both a Pioneer Elite VX-53 and a Denon AVR X3000.
