Summary: I was surprisingly pleased with this sub after reading some of the reviews. However , one reviewer stated it was ok for smaller rooms--that is what I have--12x12. This sub filled the room nicely without being too boomy.
Summary: Our Bose 3-2-1 system went south, so we decided to get a new sound system to enhance our TV. Our sound installation expert suggested Energy speakers as a good choice. We read a lot, and also called the Energy Customer Service and got their input.
Summary: Excellent sounding subwoofer. Looks great and the size is perfect. Separate volume controls make it nice when you want to turn bass down and also nice when you want to crank it up. Very happy with the performance and appearance of this sub.

Summary: I was looking for the perfect dub to match my existing components, and did a tremendous amount of research and chose the ESW-C8. This sub sounds do clean while delivering great bass without that crappy boom sound that makes your neighbors hate you. Amazing product!
Summary: This is just the right size to add bass without creating a muddy woofy sound that ruins the clarity of the music. It will not shake the house like a standard size sub, if that is what you are looking for. This pairs well with the cb-10 speakers.
Summary: This little sub is just perfect for my space- approx 550 sqft living/dining room area with room for more space due to the adjustable knob on the back. I would definitely recommend to anyone with this size space or smaller.
Summary: I had to downsize my speakers years ago and missed having a sub. This sub-woofer has great sound and can be connected to a stereo that does not have a direct sub out. Just get a RCA Y-cable and connect in parallel to your normal speakers. Adjust the range and volume and your good.
