Summary: I have this on Onkyo TX NR609 receiver in a 5.1 configuration. The sound is awesome. This has a LFE input (low frequency effects) so your receiver can take care of the crossover settings. The cabinet is well made and looks great, classy.
Summary: I purchased this as a second subwoofer to suppliment a Bose Acoustimass subwoofer with a Denon AVR-2311CI receiever. I can say it all in a simple formula. So far, the Boston Acoustics CSSUB10B + Monster cable subwoofer cable = a very happy listener.
Summary: got this sub 2 months ago and let me tell you what a great sub this is. it is the best sub and only 140.00 bucks, wow what a great buy. i am so happy that i bought this and you will be too. fully ajustable and so deep and clear it takes your breath away. it is solidly built and perfectly balanced.
Summary: If you are on a budget and are looking for a quality sub to fill the need, then this is the way to go. I am thoroughly surprised by the accuracy of this sub at such a low price. It's certainly a little boomy at times, but all subs in this range are.
Summary: For the price, this is an excellent subwoofer. I bought it to replace an considerably more expensive 12" Klipsch which burned out on me. While this 10" less expensive BA speaker can't do what the more expensive make and model did, it is a great value!
Summary: Purchased this sub to compliment Polk Audio Monitors and Onkyo receiver. Overall very impressed with this sub. Firstly, build quality is very good with good overall controls and connections. Bass is clean, tight and has impact both in home theater use and music.
