Base I love you sounds awesome, finishes my 7.2 surround sound
29 October 2013
Summary: This is a great little sub, the only thing that would be better is to have two. And I just might go ahead and buy one more. (Update)Well, now I've ordered a second one. Not because the first one didn't give enough bass but to help maximize base in my room to help with the room acoustics. I will now have full 7.2 surround sound.
Summary: I just got the F12 in the mail today. I previously owned a PSW505 (only a few weeks; paid $200 brand new) and purchased the F12 (used-like new; $150) based on the simple concept of DIVERSIFICATION. Especially after so many reviews had argued that this was a neck-to-neck race that the F12 wins. After all, Polk does not make good subs and there has to be something better for $200 - right? And sometimes diversification helps and sometimes it detracts.
The posted dimensions were wrong. Almost didn't buy it.

Summary: I liked the reviews, but I almost didn't buy this because the description said the dimensions were 21 inches by 22 inches. I've submitted changes for approval. the actual dimensions are 17 by 17 by 15 inches...much smaller. The speaker is a great value. It shakes the room and produces a lot of great low bass. I am satisfied with my purchase.
Summary: I bought two of these for my living room and I couldn't believe how hard they hit. I love bass and for the first time in my life I wondered if maybe it was too much, I then realized that it was just my wife talking. I don't care if all the picture frames and windows in my house vibrate, thats the whole point.
Summary: This sub is a great sub for the money and sounds fantastic. I've owned it for 15 months of which it has seen light use and rarely gets pushed hard with my Denon AVR-2312CI. I turned on the stereo this morning only to discover the sub didn't seem to be working. I flexed the cone inward and it seemed to bridge a loose or bad connection and now plays but distorts bad - even at low volume levels. I am contacting customer service since it has a 5 year warranty.
Summary: Great tone, power, and look combine to create the perfect storm for the money. Sure you could spend more, but why? At what point does rattling your dishes out of the cabinets become 'not enough?'. Oh? You want them to also break and turn to powder? Well my friend you are no longer looking for a subwoofer...but a bomb. There us a point in time when the bass effect gives diminished return for your money.
Summary: I've previously had a 3.2 setup in my living room and what a dramatic difference it makes. I was totally floored by this product and was truly amazed by the end result. I love it. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to other customers who are searching for an affordable subwoofer that delivers.
Summary: I've had several different subs in my theater,( a Klipsch, a KPM, and a Bose passive)... and this one so far is kicking ass..... or should I say shaking ass.... vibrating ass... oh well you get the picture... maybe too much of a visual huh?...... Great Sub for the money.
Summary: I'm not an expert in Subwoofers and I can't compare this F-12 to anything else either, this is my first home theater sub, and let me tell you that for $200 here on Amazon I couldn't be happier. I think it sounds great weather I'm watching a movie, blasting some Pantera or watching the 2013 NHRA drag racing series. This sub does a good job of making me feel like I'm almost at an NHRA event as the cars race down the quarter mile.
