Summary: I bought this to replace my 8in sub from Energy take classic 5.1. Once I replaced it, it was like night and day. I crank this baby to 6 on the volume and it's perfect balance. Anything above 6, and my room will start shaking. My old sub was good but did not want to distort the bass to fill the room.
Summary: I was disappointed when I first hooked it up. The bass was so-so. I began to tell myself that I should have bought the JBL instead. Refused to stress myself over it. Had it been a more expensive Sub then maybe more gray hairs would have sprung up.
Summary: Firstly, I'm not an audiophile. I'd love to be one, but I would rather spend crazy amounts of money on other cool things, like a twin turbo Porsche. About 12 years ago I bought a Harman Kardon HKTS12 speaker system.
Summary: The BIC America F12 is one sub that will truly get every pennies worth. I'm a person who does tons and tons of research before purchasing pricey products, and in the end of subwoofer hunting, the BIC really looked like the best value.
Summary: I had this sub woofer working for about one hour when it died on me. Believe me, I just was adjusting it to match my speakers at a normal volume. After one hour I had to go or an appointment and when I came it didn't work anymore. I checked the power-light at the back witch was off.
Summary: I love it. My neighbors love it. The bass on this thing is equivalent to having car subs in your house. I can have these full blast and I know that they won't break. I've had this sub for almost a year now and not one problem yet ! The sub is huge and it BUMPSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: If you are looking for a sub under 200, but want great performance look no further! This is an awesome sub! I have it running off a Pioneer receiver with Bose 151 Bookshelf's and Klipshe's Energy Take speakers.
