Summary: I bout just one of this bad boy, i must admit that this sub produce a quality sound. I am thinking about getting another one soon. The only thing that i think needs to be done is if they can reduce the weight for this bad boys. I do a lot of movement with my musical instruments so sometimes i feel tired to lift lift them back and fourth, but all in all i love the speaker and the price for this is very reasonable.
had to buy an amp to use it.....this sub, was listed under active powered speakers, amazon dropped the ball on this one.

Summary: this sub, was listed under active powered speakers. this one i received clearly needs a separate amp to run it.. so i was not able to use it when i needed it a few days after i bought it..I bought an amp. and it does sound good. but i am working out of a ford transit van for my equipment, space savings is a must..
Excerpt: For a 'value-branded' product, these subs do a very good job! Let's face it, if you're looking into Behringer it's likely because you may not have money for, say, EVs or JBLs. To a large extent you tend to get what you pay for with sound equipment. That said, these subs are very, very good for their price range. They can handle a lot of power and certainly fill out our sund quite nicely.
Summary: I purchased this sub as a backup in our club. We have 2 JBL 18" Subwoofers for our main system. While one speaker was getting fixed we ordered the Behringer 18" subwoofer. This speaker sounds really good. We are driving it with a Yorkville Amp, that puts out 1250 watts at 8 ohms per channel. It is more than this sub can handle, but it handles it without a problem. Box is large and might not be great for a mobile DJ, but ok for a band or permanent installation.
