Summary: There are other reviews that talk about sound quality but not much about audioengine's customer support. Sadly, my s8 broke after 6 months of almost daily use. I emailed audioengine and they would always reply with in 24 hours.
Beautiful rich sound. Control knobs and setup guide could be better.

Summary: First, I don't need to add anything to what other reviewers have said about the great sound quality across the music spectrum, I'll simply agree with them. I do think the 3 control knobs on the back could be improved.
Summary: Only a few weeks after the warranty was up, my Audioengine S8 starting making crackling sounds when no music was playing. When I initially contact their customer support, I was told I would have to send it back and pay an $80. fee to have it repaired/replaced.
Summary: I purchased this sub woofer with a set of Audio Engine 5 satellite speakers. This unit will produce an array of low end sounds. The ONLY criticism I have is the need to adjust the bass output in order to match the volume of the satellite speakers. I have this on the floor under my workbench.
