Excerpt: Not for the audiophile, but great for someone who wants to add a little umphh to their tv watching experience. Paired with my JVC receiver and 70 inch Vizio, I've gotta great little mancave now!
Excerpt: I'm not real big on the home theater thing but made the decision to go with components instead of the boxed set's because of a bluray player failing. after buying a good receiver with HDMI inputs I found decent bluray then researched speaker sytems as the sub woofer I had wouldnt plug in to the new...
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy Instal, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote, Great sound, Included Microphone A, Interfaces Well With TV, Thundering Bass
Excerpt: Knocking off one star for really thin speaker wire included with speakers. Otherwise, great sound. Lots of headroom (high frequency response). Woofer has very good presence. Use with proper AV receiver and you'll be surprised with the sound.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote, Interfaces Well With TV, Thundering Bass
Summary: This speaker system sounds great. The powered subwoofer is excellent. The center speaker is larger than most and gives great sound. THe system comes with wire but I suggest ordering 16 AWG. Also, I suggest brackets so that you can angle and position the speakers in your room for the best sound.
Summary: I was not very sure when buying since I already have a Bose system upstairs. I was looking for something downstairs and I found this system while searching on the web. I paired the Yamaha speakers with Pioneer receiver.. I was amazed by the sound quality. Good that I bought them.
Summary: I used an automatic feature on my AV Recv/Amp to adjust the speakers once they were in place. To my disappointment, the sound was only marginally better than the old AIWA system I was replacing.
Summary: I would have given 5 stars if the specs were clearer about watts per channel rather than a general statement of "100 watts" Other than that they sound clear and loud. Bass is only up half way and it booms nicely.
