Summary: These speakers meet all of my expectations. The performance is not quite the equal of my inside speaker set-up, but in part that is because the inside acoustics cannot be duplicated outside. Very well satisfied.
Good sounding speaker. Good value. So far so good.

Summary: I purchased the Yamaha ns-aw570 at Costco towards the end of the fall of 2012. They were the last pair on the shelf and Costco was selling them for $90. Bought on impulse, but in retrospect a good value. MOUNTING The mounting brackets, I saw someone else foo-foooed them, while not exceptionally staunch, do the job very nicely if you use a floodlight wall mount plate and attach the Yamaha bracket with the included "screw for mega mounting plates".
Very disappointed in mechanical construction and reliability

Summary: Yamaha website wouldn’t let me submit a negative review. Speakers have been more trouble than they’re worth. Only positives are better sound than Bose 151 and plastic masking covers included for painting. Wiring posts don’t stay tight … plastic nuts spin on metal posts … one post eventually broke. Mounting brackets are flimsy, and plastic mounting screws don’t stay tight … eventually changed to normal hardware.

GREAT speaker with extended/balanced range and can really be powered loud.

Summary: These speakers are great!! Super even frequency output from lows to highs. Very worth the money. You could pay way more (e.g. Bose, which I have) and not get near as much even output. The mounting bracket does restrict mounting to one rotation direction, but that is minor.
Reasonable sound, but need a bit of power in your reciever.

Summary: I purchased these for my cabin in MT for outdoor listening by our camp fire...about 25 yards away from location. Reviews were quite high so I decided to go for it. I think the sound is fairly accurate with good mid range and lows for inexpensive speakers, but these do require a bit of power to drive...I had Polk audio speakers earlier, and they only required half the volume. Overall, I am pleased, but maybe need a more powerful reciever than my old Yamaha...
Summary: I bought these after reading favorable reviews. After testing them out, they did not meet my demands. I was looking for more low end response and these did not have them. I compared to Atrium3 speakers with smaller cones and I expected less base. The Polk Atrium3 had better base response and had better mid and high end clarity. I've also heard my neighbor's Polk Atrium 6 with ported base. Beats these hands down.
