Summary: I did like a lot of other people, research outdoor speakers like crazy. I finally settled on these because I couldn't decide if it was worth spending $600 for the pair of a brand I typically use. I am very impressed with the sound of these speakers, they sound great. For the money, you can't go wrong with these speakers.
Summary: These are excellent outdoor speakers. Sure, you could spend more and get more power, but who would want to be your neighbor then? These are mounted on my back porch with a slanted ceiling. The slanted ceiling pushes the sound down to the patio area and keeps it from projecting too far. If you did want to annoy your neighbors with these speakers, you still could... They're great.
Excerpt: Installed these on my back patio so that it is possible to go from inside to outside and hear the same music. They were a snap to install and look pretty good under the eaves of the house. I am delighted with their sound and am very happy with these speakers.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Can't beat these outdoor speakers price vs quality

Summary: I love those speakers, I had a party and my guest commented on how good the speakers sounded. They are paired with a Yamaha HTR-6040 receiver. I hesitated between these and the 300 watts version and I'm glad I didn't pay the extra. As these are enough to disturb the neighbor. Pros: - Powerful - Good sound quality - Good price Minor cons: - Bracket was a bit limited for my installation, as I wanted to mount them as close to the ceiling/wall in the corner.
Great at first, then the poor quality showed through

Summary: Sounds was good and installation was easy, but after a couple of months in the sun the front speaker grill warped and fell off. There is some glue or vibration insulating material around where it mates to the speaker and that started to melt and bulge and now I can't get the speaker back together.
