Summary: This review will likely help those who are new to Home Theater setup and don't know where to start. My setup consists of a Sharp 60" LEDTV, Samsung BD-F5100 Blu Ray player, Yamaha RX-V577 receiver, pair of NS-777s and NS-333 and a NS-444. The sub is a YST-SW216.
Summary: I bought a pair of these along with the matching center and rears. They shake my house! I had bought a HTiB 3-4 years ago, and the original speakers slowly died one by one. Everytime my wife would have a party, she would crank it up and kill another one.
Excerpt: An amazing set of speakers for music or movies even to upgrade the look of your livingroom with the stunning piano black finish! They are solid and with detailed sound that will satisfy any taste!
Summary: Speakers sound great on my Yamaha Rxv-663 home theater system....They replaced 32 year old Yamaha NS-6 Acoustic suspension speakers which I love .....the 777s are bass reflex and have different sound .
Awesome performance for the cost, but recommend matching with a subwoofer

Summary: I've had these speakers for about 2 weeks now, and I have to say they are AWESOME, and an incredibly good value for the money. I think these sound as good/clean/clear as other speakers I've listened to, costing up to 10 times as much.
Summary: I've always like Yamaha musical instruments and home audio gear. I bought a new Mcintosh amp and thought I would give these to my son and upgrade to a "better" set of speakers. I auditioned the Sonus Faber Olympica IIs at $10k a pair, the B&W 802 which are $18K a pair among other $10k plus speakers.
Summary: I was looking to upgrade from Harman Kardon HKTS 30BQ 5.1 Home Theater, and based on the positive rating on Amazon decided to go with a pair of NS-777 as front speakers, NS-C310 for the center speaker, SW-315 for the sub and NS-333 for the surround.
Summary: I had Polk Monitor 50 speakers as my front. For music they are decent, but for dialogues they sound extremely sibilant and causes listening fatigue. I was happy with my Yamaha subwoofer so I decided to get Yamaha front and center speakers. These speakers are heavy.
