Sounds like bass heavy NS-10s, too harsh for my ears

Summary: Solid monitor speaker. Very heavy enclosure / magnet. Heavy bass response. But also very piercing high end signal, reminiscent of Yamaha NS-10s. I didn't like the sound, very fatiguing for my ears. I ended up going with Dynaudio instead.
Summary: I bought 2 of these speakers to replace a bulky Peavey amplifier for home use only. I also purchased a Yamaha BMS10A microphone stand adapter for each speaker in order to support them above the keyboard at ear level. I'm very happy with the resulting keyboard sound.
Summary: I run three of these out of my (somewhat ancient) Proceed preamp. They just work. I can just set the controls to match the Proceed (THX) settings and that is it. Summary: I like these very much. Powerful and flat monitors. For the price range you can't go wrong. Very clear sound across the spectrum. You would need a sub for this set if you are interested in ultra low frequencies.

Summary: This monitors are so clear and articulate. I recently upgraded from a pair of KRK Rockit's and at first, I wasn't that impressed but it's a subtlty that you notice like upgrading a car. You first notice a slight difference, but when you go back to the old product you then notice a vast difference.
Summary: I should have read the reviews more closely before purchasing this. This is for one speaker. The title is misleading. One speaker does not qualify as a "system". The title needs to state that the purchase is for one speaker only. Not a system.
