Summary: For £100 I cannot imagine that you could get a better pair of hi-fi speakers. The top end is crisp and the bass well rounded, more than enough umph for a decent amp to make use of in a smallish apartments hi-fi set up. Looks as though Wharfedale are still knocking out budget speakers with the build quality of much more expensive alternatives.
Summary: I'm no audiophile, but after switching to these I can hear dimensions to tunes which had previously not existed for me. The bass is solid and plenty of it. They are a very pretty sitting on my shelves.
Summary: Having researched speakers to replace my Dad's 27 year old Sony ones which disintegrated after so much heavy use, we came across numerous rave reviews for the Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers and decided to purchase them from Nottingham HiFi Centre. They arrived very swiftly on a free of charge one hour timed slot with DPD - fantastic.
Summary: These speakers are excellent. I use them for rock and RandB etc. Obviously they are small speakers so whilst the sound and depth will be much greater than their size suggests you obviously will not get the huge bass.
