Summary: I really don't consider myself capable of providing a review since more than half of my hearing is gone--one of the joys of old age. That admitted, I thought the sound superb, better even than B&W. It is amazing how few people think for themselves and buy only by the brand name or the price (the higher the cost, the better the product, right?). All I can say is that for me the sound is glorious. I wish I could say why.
Summary: WHARFDALE-DIAMOND 10.2 ARE WELL CONSTRUCTED SPEAKERS,BEAUTIFUL DESIGNED, WITH twin rear ports that brings out the bass, good clarity. If you appreciate good sounding music then i know you will appreciate the Wharfdale-diamond 10.2.You can't go wrong with these speakers, Beautiful
Summary: Not a bad speaker for the money. They are build and look great. The only thing for me was the vocals seemed not as clear as I would have liked. Far from bad sounding but the crispness is not their for me. Instrumentals such as jazz, classical, classical guitar sound pretty darn good. So in a nutshell a very good speaker for the money but if your looking for crisp sounding vocals not the one for you. That being said warlfdales are known for this sound.
Summary: I realize that this speaker gets a lot of hype on the internets and now I hear why. I have a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze B2s here as well with which I was able to do some comparisons on a NAD C 326BEE. The 10.2s have brighter highs and deeper lows than the B2s as well as an overall broader and more defined sound. I was actually particularly pleased with the amount of bass that these speakers are capable of producing.
Summary: After quite a bit of research, I bought a pair of these for a medium sized living room. The sound is great, powerful and clear - though I probably need to upgrade my integrated amp in order to get the most out of them. The best thing about these speakers, however, is the service that I received from the manufacturer / dealer - who supplied the speakers through Amazon.
Summary: Those are the best collection of words to describe these speakers. After reading many reviews of Diamond 10.1 loudspeakers, but finding very little written about the 10.2, I felt I should post some words about them here. Magic. That's another word that could describe them, but I should be more specific.
Summary: If using this as a stereo set, you will be hard pressed to find better speakers at this price point. Fantastic soundstage. Good Bass. Can handle everything thrown at it. I have never fallen in love with any speaker so quickly. Looks Good, Sounds good. I know my speakers. My other pairs are B&Ws and ProAc Studio 100s. Though the 10.2's are not quite in their league, they do give them a run for the money.
Summary: Good speakers, establihed them next to my wharfedale diamond 10.7 as a surround speakers and got realy powerfull, nice playing set, powered by onkyo txnr818 and power amplifier for the fronts onkyo M-504 ;)
