Summary: I bought the Wharfedale Diamond 10.2 speakers to use in my office where I have limited space. I had planned to use Bose 301 Series III speakers in the space but I could not place them adequately for good performance.
Summary: music direct shipped these fast and that is appreciated because when you need speakers you want them yesterday! I have been burned before buying speakers unheard. I hook these up to a 20+ year old integrated amp and only play vinyl records through them. The sound is true. The low end warm.
Summary: There is much written in the review press about the Diamond 10.1's, but not much about these larger 10.2's. I was upgrading from my Pioneer SPBS22LR's (which are fantastic) and I wanted a speaker that would be an unquestioned upgrade.
Summary: People love to give their purcshses 5 stars, not sure why. These are very good speakers, clear and bright, but not untrue to the input. You will not get thumping bass out of 6.5" drives but the sound is balance and enjoyable. I respect my neighbors so we typically play them at moderate levels.
You're not going to find a terribly nuanced speaker in this price range

Summary: They're a handsome speaker without much punch. I use these along with a powered subwoofer mostly for watching movies and listening to CDs and vinyl. I have them powered by a 50Wx2 Marantz NR series receiver. They really want much more power but even then, the separation and clarity isn't all there.
