Decent outdoor rock speaker for the money. Low end output a bit thin.

Summary: Decent rock speaker for the money. I was expecting a bit more audio output for the size, but it is adequate. I have used both a 2x50 watt amp on this (both channels to this) and a 2x30 watt. The audio output is good, but a bit thin on the low end. I was expecting more low end based on the overall size of the enclosure.
Summary: Bought two for use around my backyard. Only one of the two units works. Trying to get the second one returned, but Amazon is saying that it's not elligible for return -- hmm .. purchased through amazon, no warnings that it wasn't eligible for return.
Summary: Several months later, I still can NOT believe the quality of sound that come out of these speakers! I have 4 of these around my pool area that I power from my Bull Frog Hot Tubs Bose sound system. It is very impressive to hear such high fidelity sound outdoors at low, medium or high volumes. The bass is very responsive, the mids are clean and the highs are crisp and precise.
Summary: Great sound. The front of the speaker as far as a rock design cou;d have more detail like a rock so the speaker is not somewhat in apperance but the performance as far as the sound and being a larger rock is great. I did not realize that one rock is set for right and left balance so I used one wire hook up because I wanted two large rocks in the landscape to have a better sound by distance between the speakers. Thanks.
Excerpt: Wow thank you Marcela (a TIC customer liaison staff member) for such a quick response and thank you for addressing all of my concerns. I can understand now all the fabulous comments on your website about customer service if you are just the tip of the iceberg in regards to customer service. Kudos! Wishing you and your families a safe and happy holiday season!
Summary: So I just received this and used it the first time. I also ordered two Stereostones in case these did not work out. A few things to note: 1) These cost less and were much more realistic than the Stereostones. The "granite" stereostone looks more like black paint splattered on paper mache, than a rock. This TIC version looks the part. 2) The TIC warranty is only 3 years -- Stereostones are effectively lifetime. Too early to say if that is a factor or not.
Summary: This is only a single speaker that plays left and right. Be careful, I thought that I was buying two speakers based on the way it portrayed and listed in the ad: (Terra-Forms Rock Speakers). The need to take the 's' off of speaker!
