Summary: I really expected a lot more "bottom" out of this speaker. For the price, it is not what I expected. If plays ok at a low volume, but if you are planning on using it for a party or get together, don't even try to use this. Even at less that 1/2 volume, the speaker starts to flutter. Highly disappointed.
Summary: For less than one hundred bucks this sub will fill in all the bottom end the average " Joe Patio " could ever need. I get more sound at lower volume with the internal crossover which also helps keep my outdoor speakers safe from too much bass. This sub is not a Hi-Def home theater unit ( and not priced as such ) but the bass is not "boomy" and seems to come from everywhere.
Summary: This sub provided the required added bass my backyard needed. The best part is that I have a really annoying neighbor that called the cops the first night in action and they asked me to lower the bass!
Summary: This is my first product review. I normally don't write a review, but I have to tell other people about this product. So simple to install! This sub will give you the deep low obnoxious base if you really want it to, but I use it to simply round out my patio speakers. It makes my patio sound incredible when matched to my polk atrium 4's!
Summary: I read the reviews and followed alot of the info... I got 2 of the subs to go with my TIC-G3 speakers (4 of the TIC-G3) I have a 45 foot long patio. Prob could have gotten away with one set but the full sound is perfect. I installed them and everyone who comes over cannot believe the full sound. These are not going to be the WAKE YOUR NEIGHBORS speakers but the sound is full and rich.
Summary: I bought this with the GS 5 set and they work great together. The sub brings out the lower sounds and all three speakers bring music to a large area evenly. Before this setup I used just typical outdoor directional speakers and they did the job until I need music on a deck and around a pool down below. If I wanted to hear the music in the pool I needed to turn it up so loud that it drowned out the deck and you couldn't have a conversation.
Summary: I added the TIC GS-50 as a compliment to a pair of existing outdoor speakers. These are mounted under the roof overhang aimed down to an outdoor deck/gazebo area. The existing speakers sounded okay but just did not reproduce decent low end frequency. This sub does a excellent job of filling out the low end that was previously missing from the system. Another great feature is the built in cross-over which makes the system more efficient.
