Summary: I installed a pair of TIC GS3 speakers on my back patio two weeks ago to replace a Bose Freestyle speaker that had failed after 8 years. I installed the GS's in the ground about 20 feet apart. The GS3's sound is very crisp and clear though the mid-range is slightly too prominent. The bass can be adequate depending upon your position relative to the speakers. For an outdoor speaker it's very good, the best aspect is the wide dispersion of the 360 degree sound.
Summary: Great speakers for outdoor use. MY house already had them when we purchased in 1994, and almsot 20 years later they finally gave out. Speakers were outside year round with no pyblems. I have them hooked to home stereo and they can really jam out very loud. Great product and will buy again in 20 years.
Summary: Just received shipment of a pair of these and installed them in the back yard. They are easy to install, hookup, and they sound great. Like them so well that I'm going to add a pair of the 5 inch models to enhance the sound.
Summary: I am not a audiophile. I do however like music. The sound from these speakers amaze me. I have speakers all around my home. Paradigm, Energy, Bose, Boston acoustics. These do not fall short. Very pleased.
Summary: I consider myself a "research before you buy" kind of guy and I have very good luck before buying. I have a house with a medium sized pool and wanted a custom sound feature. I purchased this along with the amp10 and 2 speak cable connectors from Amazon.com. I spent about an h our digging and connecting; this thing fired right up and sounds great. Friends ask "where is that sound coming from".
