Summary: I am trying to remove a TIC GS-6 6/12 outdoor in ground speaker, and when I dug it up there was a black cord coining out of the speaker. I do not know if this cord has an electrical current or is it just the wires to carry the sound from the turntable device to the speakers.
Summary: This is my 2nd TIC speaker (Sub-woofer) it absolutely meets my need on outside speakers. I actually have 4 speakers and the one sub-woofer around my patio area. The speakers have been extremely durable when it comes to the weather, they have been covered in snow, they’ve been flooded with water, and...
Summary: What a great sound! Put the out at the pool with the 14 G wire and used the TIC couplers to connect to the receiver. I had the 5" speakers and they just didn't carry the base as well. You will have to dig a pretty good size hole to get these installed correctly so be prepared.
Summary: I installed a pair of TIC GS3 speakers on my back patio two weeks ago to replace a Bose Freestyle speaker that had failed after 8 years. I installed the GS's in the ground about 20 feet apart. The GS3's sound is very crisp and clear though the mid-range is slightly too prominent.
Summary: Great speakers for outdoor use. MY house already had them when we purchased in 1994, and almsot 20 years later they finally gave out. Speakers were outside year round with no pyblems. I have them hooked to home stereo and they can really jam out very loud.
