TIC ASP60 outdoor patio speakers

TIC Corporation
13 June 2010
  • Excerpt: I can't believe how great these speakers sound in my backyard. I checked in store but I think these are much better for the money. The range is good, but just a little more bass would make these speakers flawless. So I bought the GS50 subwoofer, you have to connect the subwoofer directly to the receiver, as it produces a lots power. They sound great no matter where you are sitting.

ASP60 patio speakers

TIC Corporation
13 June 2010
  • Excerpt: I found out these great speakers from my neighbor. He bought them from your web site, one day I was visiting him and found these speakers sound very good. I was going to spend $300 for another brand name, but after hearing them, I decide to buy them from you and save me $$$.

TIC ASP60 outdoor patio speakers

TIC Corporation
13 June 2010
  • Excerpt: These are great outdoor speakers for a mid size space. The bass reproduction exceeded my expectations, I listened to "others", and with the exception of ____, but the ___ units are three time more expensive. Overall, they are the best sounding outdoor speaker I could find in its class. The construction and finish is nice, and all the parts and accessories feel solid and well made. Very pleaseed with the purchase and would recommend them.

ASP-60s superb for smaller spaces

XEagelDriver, Beach Audio
13 October 2008
  • Excerpt: Installed on a front porch under the eves and they sound great. I use the much larger ASP-120s on a back deck. The 120s are more appropriate for larger venues than the 60s. The 60s advantage is asthetics--can be installed and remain out of sight in places the 120s would stick out. The 60s sound quality is close to the 120s with a little less bass extension as would be expected. Good looking and sounding speakers!
  • Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Great Sound Quality
  • Cons: Less bass than ASP-120s

Just what I wanted

Paul Huston "pwh", Amazon
16 August 2007
  • Summary: Wanted some great sounding waterproof speakers for out by the pool. Have a nice set of cheaper Jensons on the patio but I didn't order those because they are not rated for full exposure so I found these and for a few more dollars they are fantastic! Great full ranging sound and loud enough on my old JVC reciever and amp even when we're splashing around.

low sound level, unimpressive sound quality

Jabba, Amazon
31 July 2007
  • Summary: The sound from these speakers is quite unimpressive. The volume level is very low. I wanted these so I could have my "B" speakers out on the deck, and my "A" speakers still playing in the house. These speakers are so much quieter than my stereo's normal speakers, that it can't be done. In order to have adequate volume outside on these speakers, the volume would have to be set so the indoor speakers were blaring.
