Summary: Had the bronze 2 probably one of the best bookshelf speakers going, so tried the bronze 5 . They were better, but wanted something a little bigger . Didnt like the Tan Rev dc6tse they seemed scratchy on the higher notes even a bit tinny.
Excellent speakers. Don't let their age put you off

Summary: I have a high quality Cyrus biamped set up with the top end Cyrus CD player as primary music source. Speaker technology hasn't changed much in over 25 years so I wasn't put off by the age of the Tannoys. They were what hi fi floorstanders of the year in 2013 and cost £1000.
Summary: I bought a pair of Tannoy Revolution DC6T SE speakers after having them demonstrated to me at Richer Sounds' Oxford store a couple of years ago. I was looking for a pair of speakers at around the £300 mark and these were brought in as a benchmark.
Summary: After reading about the Tannoy DC6T SE and contemplating buying these speakers for some time, I now finally have a stunning set of these and all I can say is WOW! Not only do these look amazing, but produce such a clear, coherent and crisp sound with a punchy bass to boot Finished superbly and ooze...
Summary: Having only recently purchased a set of Q Acoustics Concept 20 speakers on their dedicated stands, I wasn't on the look out for another upgrade until I was made aware of the excellent deals available through RS on the SE version of the Tannoy DC6Ts.
Summary: Considering the price of these speakers now they are a discontinued line, the value is staggering. Massive open soundstage, revealing nature, fairly deep reaching bass and great looking. The integrated plinth is worth the extra over the standard DC6T alone.
Summary: These Tannoys are almost as good as the latest £999 pair in my view. For less than half the price this is a no brainer. Excellent speakers. Patient, friendly service from the Richer Sounds staff, both at Stockport and at Hanley.
Summary: went to see Bob at romford store who gave me great advice. these speakers replaced my cambridge audio s70 and i have to say the difference in sound quality way exceeded my expectations, crisp clear sound with good low tones and a real punch at high volume.
Summary: Sounds good out of the box but really comes alive after about twenty hours of burn in. Once the drivers loosen up a bit . You won't get a better speaker at this price richer sounds are selling them out. Now low in stock so get a bargain while you can.
Summary: I upgraded to these speakers from my old Tannoy Mercury M3s. The difference in quality astounded me: improved stereo image and greater clarity and balance. Now I can really hear what my CD player and amplifier can do! For the price these are extraordinary speakers.
