Summary: These were a beautiful looking and well designed speaker but just didn't work well with my set-up. They sounded very good at low volume and were impressive with folk and orchestral music but they are seriously missing the funk.
Summary: Tannoy Revolution DC6T. I've had these speakers for a month now, so they've been 'run in'. The clarity and depth is superb. The bass is powerful and solid - nothing 'boomy', if that's the right term! They're hooked up to an Onkyo 606 and form the front L/R of a 7.1surround system.
Summary: these are a banging pair of floorstanders don't forget they won awards twice in a row for best floorstanders in the £800 to £1500 pricerange .there selling at £299.99 that's a bargain a steal daylight robbery .with these you can not go wrong beautiful design great sound and award winners .best thing...
Pros: there great looking , they sound great , there affordable
Summary: What an absolute bargain for £300. Just starting to run them in properly and the sound is amazing. They have breathed new life into my music collection. It's like hearing all my albums for the first time all over again. They are a massive step up over my old Tannoy speakers.
Pros: can't fault them at all , superb sound quality , look great
Summary: Bought these to replace old, but worthy speakers. Very impressed right out of the box, and they have improved as I have run them in. Superb sound, really highlights the sort of music I enjoy, such as Hendrix, Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin.
Summary: Bought these last month to replace my Mission 751's in rosewood. still breaking them in , powered by Cyrus 3 and psx , bi-amped with a q-power and feed by a Quattro. The sound can get a little strident, putting it down to them being new still.
Pros: open and can sound amazing with the right music , good stereo point sourcing
Cons: need careful placing , lots of power to get them going
Summary: Ordered from Richer Sounds yesterday and here by lunchtime today. I've just bi-wired them to my Yamaha AS500 and I am blown away by how good these speakers sound. Vocals sound smooth and and the image is very involving. I can hear clarity in the music I've never noticed before with my old Kefs.
At £600-£700 these are great. At £500 they were a steal!

Summary: I've been upgrading various aspects of my system and had been eyeing these for a long time even at the original price of £1000; I'd given over to saving for them at that price. The months rolled on and the price changed about. Then Black friday happened along and RS Romford had these at £500.
Pros: great price , build quality.
Cons: only one colour option which is not to my taste.
