Summary: I wish Sony didn't discontinue them! I started with a 400 model networked to the blu ray on a surround sound in the back rec room. The router is in the living room through a couple walls, so I've never had this all next to each other. There were occassional blips in holding reception, but never bad.
Summary: I actually received this speaker as part of my Sony home theater package. Initially I had trouble with the install due to my own lack of technical prowess. Once I figured it out, I've been able to stream music from Slacker, Pandora and my PC without issue.
Summary: The speaker is fabulous! It does everything the description says it does and it works wonderfully with great sound quality. It picks up the Wifi without having to be near the wireless router. The only reason this product received 4 and not 5 stars was because it was a bit difficult to get started.
Summary: Set it up in minutes, easily. Started streaming from Synology DiskStation DS411J also in minutes. Don't get all the fuss - it works, sound is not great but okay for my kitchen. I use Synlogy's Android app to queue playlists. This thing plays hours on end without any difficulty, over wifi.
Great device or for thos with MEDIA SERVERS- Its ok without a server/pc support- other reviewers couldn't figure it out

Summary: Update: important note in retrospect, UpnP settings on router greatly affect utility of wifi lag and the android app. This is important info since the Sony instructions and online FAQs do not detail how to improve functionality of the devices by this method.
Summary: I was very hesitant to purchase this speaker after reading the abyssmal reviews by other customers. I chanced it and went ahead and ordered it anyway trusting the Sony name. My intent with purchasing this speaker was to be able to stream music to other locations in my house, particularly Pandora...
