Summary: well i have got to say i wasnt really sure if i was going to like these speakers just based on the price, plus sony didnt really have a good rep for speakers. let me tell you I WAS WRONG! these speaker have great range good bass response very good mid range.
Summary: Once you crank the right volume level into them they don't sound too bad. A bit tight on the soundstage and the seperation of instruments but for the price they make a decent basis of a moderately priced surround sound system.
Summary: I just got a pair of these after purchasing a pair of the SSF6000 speakers. Considering how great the single woofer SSF6000 sounded I figured this'll be even better considering the price difference. They were good but nowhere close or as tight as the SSF6000s.
Summary: TV: Panasonic 58pz800u AVR: Onkyo SR-605 Bluray: Oppo BDP-83 Sat: Dish Network ViP 211 Fronts: Sony SS-F 7000 Center: Sony SS-CN5000 Surrounds: Sony SS-B1000 Subwoofer: Onkyo SKW-530 I've been using these for the past 2 weeks now and they replaced the Sony SS-F 6000 towers in my living room.
Summary: Excellent quality, great match with my Onkyo home theater system. I am running a powered sub-woofer to enhance the base, which really gives the system great sound. For the price, this is great set of speakers.
Summary: I BOUGHT THESE SPEAKERS TO MATCH MY TV AND STEREO SURROUNDS. I HAVE A 72" TV AND IT LEAVES LITTLE ROOM FOR ANY SPEAKERS. THESE HAVE VERY GOOD SOUND AND LOOK GREAT! FOR THE MONEY YA CAN'T GO WRONG.

I have configured systems ranging from $500 to $50,000 and I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased the Sony SS-F7000...
