Summary: I was hesitating in getting this speakers, thinking they didn't have the sound quality what I was looking for, but after reading and looking the best bang for my bucks I finally got them and when I first tried with my sound system it blew me away how much difference it did with my tv sound and music files, amazing sound , definitely ...I'm so glad I got them!
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Great speakers for the price. Hands down the best value in floor standing speakers. It's nice to get two for basically the price of one. I use them with a turntable, pre-amp, and a power amp. They are loud enough to fill up my whole downstairs level with music. They handle a pretty decent frequency spectrum for the size.
Great Sounding Speaker For The Price / Horrible Sony Customer Service
11 November 2013
Summary: These speakers are great deal considering the price. I was on a budget because I was purchasing an entire surround sound system and didn't have tons of money to spend. I did receive one speaker with a damaged grill and had the same horrible customer service experience from Sony over this issue as others have written about. They insisted I send the speaker to a certified repair shop rather than send me a replacement grill.
Summary: These 4 way speakers are extremely superb to others I've heard and had. Best audio upgrade I ever bought BUT the wiring Sony includes are average at best. Got monster cables and never looked back!
Summary: I had to buy a second set because one of the mid range speakers quit working for no reason. I also found out that if you have a problem with there product you would have to ship it back to sony for repair. which means spending on shipping etc. I cant believe as big as sony is they wouldnt have a repair shop, like in Denver,Co Probably the last sony speaker set i will buy.
Summary: Good speakers my Onkie 515 drives them fine. I never turn up the volume till my ears bleed or the windows shatter so I guess at the max I put about 40 watts of clean power to them and they sounded great. My test bed for them was Pandora 80s mix and the Movie Rock of Ages the highs were great bass tight and not over powering. Now like almost everybody else has said broken grilles SONY YOU NEED TO DO something about that better packaging or a new grill design.
