Summary: I have had them 3 days and i thought for dollars spent not to expect to much but i was wrong these things rock i have beat the daylights out of them at high vol for long periods of time sound is absolutly perfect i have heard more expensive speakers that can't even come close to these i say way to go sony ill be replacing the rest of my speakers with sony very soon
Summary: They reproduce well - a bit muddy on the bottom end, but certainly accurate enough for the non-professional, especially at this price. Mid-range is respectable (the better part of these models) and the upper end is represented well enough to get the job done. Most of the time (as in pop music) the end-listener will never hear much loss due to the proliferation of sub-par source material...
Summary: WAs auditioning them with other speakers in my home first let me tell you this sound qaulity was horrible highs sound okay mids have alot of color and bass just plan off weak. I audition these speakers with a high end amp. these speakers are alright for movies but if you looking for music enjoyment no these are not the speakers for you and if you are a beginner in audio and really have not had experience with audio and looking for a bargin these are the speakers for you.
Summary: On a scale of 1-10 I would rate them between 5 or 6.Writing this review after 4 months of listening, basically got these speakers to listen to music..hooked it up with a sony 910G 7.1 Reciever/Amplifer and trust me u need a sub.Sound quality is not that bad..but if u have listened to some real nice systems these speakers are no match.Speakers are good to watch movies with..but if are listening to rock stuff, the frequency output is no that great.
Summary: The SS-F7000's replaced my long standing Acoustic Research pair in a home theater arrangement (front speakers). I was initially concerned because the ARs featured 15" woofers, large mid-tones and hi-dynamic tweeters with a flexible cross-over network; I thought the Sony's would fall short.I had recently replaced my surround set (also ARs) with Sony Bookshelf Speakers (SSB3000) and was amazed with their performance.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Crisp Sound, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality
Summary: These come as a pair. I'm using them as my front speakers for a 7.1 surround system. However, I use the system mostly for music listening. The sound quality is very good, super for the price. I (neighbors willing) have not been able to overdrive them with my 105W/ch receiver. I'm getting plenty of low frequency output, however the speakers in general are not very "punchy". I also bought the 200W Sony sub just for more movie LFE and wow factor for 0-60 Hz.
Summary: I have these speakers in my room and I play my Zune on them. They have clear highs and great bass. They were a great price for 4 way speakers. I could not find any cheaper 4 way speakers this big. I am going to get another pair and make a surround sound. I am glad I bought them.
Pros: Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Great Value, Powerful, They look cool
