Summary: This set is pure luxury in a box. These speakers are built to perform and amaze. You can't go wrong with 240 watts power! The only issue is that the speaker cone fell off when it was dropped 1 foot off the ground. But they still work and show little damage on the outer case
GREAT little speaker IF you modify the crummy original crossover!!

Summary: I found two pair of these at a local thrift shop and paid $20 for both pair. I read the reviews online and many reviewers commented on the 'hole' in the resonse in the midrange, vocals, etc. I have to say that I agree with the reviewers about the muddy middle.
Summary: I wanted something cheap for at work along with a small 20W dc amp. save your money pick up the daytons B652 instead. These had a smaller profile but terrible sound. I never liked sony one more reason on that list. Ear fatigue within 20 mins.
Summary: I've got three pairs of these and love the sound. I like a lot of base and these little units really pump it out! Let's face it, if you are looking for reference quality sound you will need to spend a whole lot more money than these cost!
Summary: HI you wanted me to review the sony speakers i purched i work with electronices and got them for testing receivers and other stuff and all i had where heavy speakers that was a pain in the but to move heavy speakers every time i wanted to test something so i got the sony speakers just for testing...
Summary: I bought these for $10 at a yard sale in perfect condition. I mostly bought them to experiment with and if needed gut them and use the cabinets. They need to be gutted. I measured them and they have reasonably flat response. But the midrange lacks any depth and clarity.
