Summary: I should start off saying the speaker quality, especially for the size, is terrific. The problem is the software. It crashes about 4 out 5 times I use it. 2 out of 3 it won't play anything from my library...just spins its wheels. It requires constant shutdown and reboots.

Summary: Everything with this is proprietary. Sonos refuses to allow sound sources that are not in their app. I really want to be able to make a youtube play list and play it over the Sonos, but alas, they will never support this natively..
Summary: The sound is great. . . IF you can get it to play. EVERY TIME I want to start it up, the SONOS software wants to re-install all the equipment. I can never just open the app and play music. This past week, I cannot even get the app the "re-install" the equipment. This is $270 down the drain.
Summary: This is my first Sonos product- and I'm very surprised how limiting the speaker is of the music you'd like to listen to. The whole system seems to try to corall you to only listen to music services they have business arrangements previously made with (TuneIn Radio, Rhapsody, etc.).

Summary: Seemed simple at first... however i couldn;t set it up on my wireless network. after more than two hours on the phone with techs from Sonos, still nothing. They could not get it to join my network. Poor tech support - horrendous customer service - it took three days to "book an appt.
Summary: Software update (that cannot be reversed) ruins the Sonos system. What was an intuitive, efficient, and attractive design has been replaced with a clunky one that requires extra steps (including tapping on screen areas that are not obviously control points).
Summary: awesome sound quality but having to use the Sonos app restricts you greatly. For example, I can't play something from youtube thru the speaker because there is no way to get it to the app, or sound from any videos.
Summary: I have been a fan of Sonos for years, but if you intend to use the new iPad app, think again. It's just plain bad.... They went all Microsoft tile and wasted space... lost the most basic functionality buried deeper into multiple screens (like say, simple things such as volume control...)....
Summary: I have been a long time sonos user. I have 12 zones in two houses. Sonos recently updated the app that allows you to control the music. It looks slick, but is a huge step backwards. The software used to be intuitive and you used to be able to change zones, or music in just one or two touches.
