Summary: Every time we turn the TV on we have to re-activate the sound system. We expected the system to be perminately installed when the TV is turned on. It is very quite inconvenient as we are senior citizens and having to figure out how to bring it back each time is a real chore . We are disappointed.
Summary: I contacted Sharp support (via their on-line contact person) prior to purchasing this sound bar to make sure that what I buy would work with my Sharp TV. I was told that all Sharp Sound Bars will work on Sharp HD TV's. NOT the case - so I had to send the sound bar back. Amazon was amazing in quickly (and at no expense to me) taking the sound bar back even though I indicated that the return was not a result of me or Amazon.
Summary: My son wanted this system for his ipod and he takes it apart and carries it to different parts of the house, even outside. It seems to be a very good system and is handling a 16 year olds use. Seems too loud to me, but he loves it.
Summary: Great Idea in that it works with the tv's remote and automatically disables the internal speakers of the TV. The big problem is that the internal speakers sound better than this unit. After you install this system you are no longer able to adjust any sound settings other than volume. It not only turns off the internal speakers, it locks your ability to make bass or treble adjustments.
Summary: This system was bought to compliment a 60" Sharp HDTV. Was easy to assemble and has good sound quality for a 2.1 system. We are very happy with the slim appearance and the sound output is suitable for our use. Value for the system is satisfactory.
Summary: Just received the sound bar and was anxious to connect to my Sharp 733-70 inch TV. Everything was pretty straight forward as far as the installation goes, but the amp would not connect/pair to the wireless sub. After an hour on the phone with Sharp support they determined it was defective. Thanks to Amazon's great return policy it went back.
