Great at making sound, does have a few minor issues in other areas

Summary: Great sound, easy to use, multiple input types (Bluetooth, HDMI, 3.5mm, optical,) wireless subwoofer. It includes some kind of iron donut (called a ferrous toroidal core, which is a fancy way of saying iron donut) which wraps around the power cord of the sub and is supposed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI.) I can't hear the difference whether it's installed on the cord or not.
Summary: Unit is great sound quality for mid and high, bass is lacking. I suppose it is better than a unit without a sub, but still, just a little more would be great for the price. Most configurations require to use the unit to control volume, not fault of unit as far as I can tell. Easy setup, no problems. No optical cable included.
Excerpt: Got this on Cyber Monday 2014. Overall it was a very good deal. Sound is good and worked flawlessly with my Samsung smart tv. Bluetooth connected perfectly almost immediately. Only complaint is that there was no real instructions on the use of the remote control. Definitely not the same quality as my Samsung smart tv remote though.
It will suck the life out of you trying to make it ...

Summary: Don't do it! Don't buy this thing! It will suck the life out of you trying to make it work. If you try to use your DVD player, Netflix, or any other device, there will be no sound. If you get it to work for your TV, it will be marginally better than the TV speakers, but will have a muffled sound like your TV is located in a bucket. Never mind the effort you will spend trying to get your remotes synced. There's no need. All you need to do is turn this sound bar OFF!
Worth it on black friday Sale, would not pay full price
28 December 2014
Summary: This was a BF sale item, if I would have paid full price it would not be worth it. the sound is good when volume is turned up. But when the movie or show has dialogue that is low or whisper, its hard to hear and need to turn the volume up, then when the music or crash or action from the movie hits, the sound is loud and needs to be turned down, hard to control. if you are watching a movie loud its no problem, but with a baby its hard to watch that way all the time.
Summary: It sounds wonderful! The directions for set up are so simple! Plus it gives you a plastic guide to use in order to line up for mounting, which makes that whole process about a million times easier. It was simple to connect the sub woofer to the bar itself and use the Bluetooth option to play music. I do have a Samsung tv, as well. I'm sure that makes a difference on the simple connectivity. I did have to use one of my spare HD MI cables to connect it to my tv...
Summary: I connected the soundbar to a Philips LED TV using an HDMI cable via the Audio Return Channel. The only issue was realizing I had to enable the HDMI-ARC on the TV via the EasyLink menu. Once this was done, the soundbar worked great. Plenty of subbass. I'm sure a much more expensive surround sound system would sound even better, but for the money this can't be beat.
