Summary: I was not expecting it to have Bose sound, but it is truly disappointing, considering the price.updating review on July 25, 2014: sound has been intermittently going on and off (hearing every other syllable);very annoying. Have tried every trouble-shooting method to fix. Will call Samsung Monday.
Summary: Caution this sound bar burnt up, and cause damage to my TV stand. I had this sound bar for only 8 days before it had problems. I had to send to back to Samsung for repair and Samsung customer service sucks. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM FROM ANYWHERE!!!!!
Summary: I first laughed at the technology of having vaccum tubes but after running this by a few friends who are musicians they told me to give it a go. What a difference! The sound can be loud at times, but also crystal clear.
Summary: I previously had a Samsung HW-F450 (I've written a review on it), and given the sound it put out, I had a hard time trying to imagine what this system could do, but I was very pleasantly surprised. To begin, this set is noticeably heavier than the F450.
Summary: I decided to go for this model as I was expecting something similar to my previous JBL 5.1 system. I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed as the quality of the sound was not really good initially. I bough a Samsung TV and I connected both using the sound share system.
Summary: If you are looking for surround sound, don't look at soundbars. Even the Bose can only do so much- and even that at the price of vocal central clarity. The HW750 may not do surround, but it does it does quite well.
