Summary: These are definitely great and light weight to use as monitors for a 4+ piece live band, but did not satisfy my expectations while using it for mains. It is great as mains for a single to a trio act, but not beyond if you want that solid full sound of a 4+ live band. It's basically personal preference, therefore for my use, it's limited to being a good source for monitors.
Summary: I had the opportunity to hear the QSC K8, K10, and K12 in the QSC demo room in Costa Mesa, California. The sound from the K10 and K12 were nearly identical--very full sounding at high output levels, as well as when simply acting as a low level amplified speaker in a small room or venue--maintaining crispness, clarity, and low-end response.

Summary: I use this as my onstage monitor and guitar and or keyboards amp. All my sounds come from my MacBook Pro through an Apogee Gio. I needed clean, crisp and thumping power that did not sag when playing with a loud band. I also needed portability. This one did it for me and I am very happy with my sound now after being dissapointed with other powered speakers. This is truly amazing.
Summary: that this small, compact unit could live up to reviews I read before my purchase. As a proud owner, this unit simply leaves the competition in the dust. A professional performer told me, buy the QSC K10 and you will never want to "move Up" again. He was right. The unit exceeds my expectations. QSC left nothing out. The unit is superb.
Summary: I have been using various speakers for our Flamenco Fusion band and we have tried other brands and set ups including the Bose systems and what we have landed with is the QSC K10's they can handle the full spectrum of sound from bass, synth, drums, backing tracks, and Flamenco Guitars and sound amazing. We use the PreSonus Studio Live 16.0.2 Mixer and we just sound great. The QSC K10's really made a huge difference in the way we sound and play.
Summary: I can only compare these with the Yamaha DXR (?) series. I own both, being a two keyboard household. I prefer this one, but both sound great. The QSC is extremely well built and goes into low power mode when it should.
Summary: I could not be more pleased with the sound and energy from this speaker. Because of its flat response I can hear the musicality of instruments much better than with other monitors. I use it with a ZED 14 mixer and can get the right sound for the room I am in. I just added the KW181 subwoofer and WOW. I love the low rumble and the air it pumps out from the 18 inch speaker. The K10s have a great bass response, but the sub gives the bass vibration you need or just want.
Summary: Only got one out of the box and hooked up my phone with a 3.5mm jack and this thing is AWESOME. Loud, clean and beautiful. We have 2 15 inch woofers and 2 18 inch subs in our sanctuary and honestly, this one QSC sounds better than all of that. Can't wait til we get both set up.
