Summary: These are expensive but worth every penny. This speaker rivals the sound quality from much bigger PA speakers and is unmatched in volume over other brands of PA speakers. You can expect this to sound better than any 15" competing PA speaker while being much lighter and more portable.
Summary: Hello! I'm an instructor and need something loud and bassy! this solved the ticket and it can withstand a normal gym on it's own. (which usually needs about 800-1100 watts.) I have no complains.. might lighter than my previous PA speaker. Looking to pair this up with a sub woofer! Just make sure you have a least 15 mins at room temperature before firing this off!!! spend the money now for this unit. then you won't need a dj for larger events. (tho it is nice!
Summary: These speakers definitely have a decent sound. I would pair them with the sub for the best sound. I do have a couple of issues with my speakers though. The shipping boxes are not the most protective. There is no foam inside the box just a piece of cardboard on top and bottom. Hence, both grills had dents in them from shipping. Fortunately, I was able to tap them out but they are not perfect and should be when bought new.
Summary: These are definitely great and light weight to use as monitors for a 4+ piece live band, but did not satisfy my expectations while using it for mains. It is great as mains for a single to a trio act, but not beyond if you want that solid full sound of a 4+ live band. It's basically personal preference, therefore for my use, it's limited to being a good source for monitors.
Summary: I had the opportunity to hear the QSC K8, K10, and K12 in the QSC demo room in Costa Mesa, California. The sound from the K10 and K12 were nearly identical--very full sounding at high output levels, as well as when simply acting as a low level amplified speaker in a small room or venue--maintaining crispness, clarity, and low-end response.
