Summary: Pyle outdoor speakers..... To start off the speakers were damaged to the casing and sound is not what you expect after reading the specs. Very disappointed.and before you ask, yes I did match them up with an 8 ohm amp.
Summary: Bought these speakers for a ballroom/Conference center Audio system Mounted them on the walls And they worked out great Fantastic audio sound Using Multiple microphones Decent music sound Bought four pair And plan on getting a few more To balance the rooms out
Summary: I'm not a big fan of "talking down", "flaming", "rubbishing" or any other forms of disrespect. Especially not in regard to a manufacturer that has some very fine products in their catalog... ...However... Even a brief assessment (pick up, look over, followed by a listening test) of these on the "showroom floor" was all I needed to be convinced that the PYLE PLM64s do NOT fit that category.
Summary: These speaker have terrible sound quality !!!!! Tried to adjust everything possible to get some kind of good sound and nothing worked. They are definitely going back. Would give a zero rating if the option was available. DO NOT purchase these.
Summary: I have to share how much I am glad that I have these speakers. Very glad. The plastic shell they are built into is very rugged, and does a great job protecting the cones inside from balls smashing them (they are on the back deck where the kids like to play their own version of basketball). The sound is so good and strong out on the deck now, we can have fifteen people over and the music is clear as a bell over everyone talking ... at once!!
Summary: have a 200 watt receiver that i wanted outdoor speakers to pair with. i got the pair and attached them to our deck posts around 6 feet off the deck. connected the wires and powered the receiver on and haven't touched the speakers since. they've continued working several months now and haven't given any grief. their rated for higher power but they sound great powered by our receiver. nice to know i can upgrade if i want and will still be able to use them.
Summary: I bought two pairs of these for our local pool (deck). They work okay. You can get maybe about 50 clean watts into them tops before garbage comes out. That's barely enough sound for pool deck. When it's crowded with people there is not enough sound/dbs. If I did it again I'd go for Yamahas, Polks, or Klipschs for a few more bucks.
