Summary: been buying pyle since i had my first job. just bought 2 sets of these and they are a breeze to install. put them in any sheetrock, anywhere. cant beat the for their pricetag! would buy these for a whole house install if needed over more expensive ones. they even come with a good usable template. they also have spring loaded wire clamps so you only have to strip the speaker wire, thats it.
Probably the best you are going to find for the price

Summary: First off, the price is for a pair of speakers. That makes it less than $20 a piece. That is insanely cheap for two way speakers. The build quality is actually pretty good! The only slight issue I had is that the mounting frame mount points flexed a little when I tightened them down. Still, they are solidly attached to the ceiling.
Summary: These are average speakers, which I could figure from the price. I know Pyle isn't some great brand, but they serve my purpose. Positives-They install very easily and sound pretty good. Negatives-The template for the cut out was a little bigger than the speaker. Luckily I always measure first. Also, one of the speakers was damaged. Just a plastic piece of the bracket, so I just hot glued it. It was nothing that was gonna affect the sound quality. Buyer beware.
Summary: I bought these to use for rear surround. They sound really good considering the price. They exceeded my expectations. The install was really easy and fast. The instructions are simple and straight forward.
Summary: Product is listed as "Directable 1/2'' Polymer Dome Tweeter" but received the item and it is NOT a directable tweeter. Upon taking the product out of the box I saw the tweeter was not directable as it stated on the product list and the product box. I contacted the manufacturer regarding this as well as the missing speaker connection terminals. I was told directable tweeter was a misprint on the box, Pyle website, and within the Amazon product description??
Summary: Like others who posted reviews on this site, both of my speakers came damaged with broken pieces loose in the packaging. The package itself was not damaged in any way, which leads me to believe these speakers are either very cheaply made or were already broken when shipped. I will be returning them and looking for a different brand.
Summary: The shipping carton and the inside packaging were both in perfect shape, yet the speaker frame was badly and obviously cracked. It had to be that way when it left the factory. I returned it and it's replacement was likewise damaged.
Summary: I had been looking for a while to find a good set of in wall spearkers for my surround sound. When I bought these the first set was broken, the frames were cracked on one and completely broken on the other. I immediately came on Amazon and reported it. I recieved my replaced speakers the very next day. Great Service! I now have these installed in the wall behing my couch and hidden behind two paintings. I must say for the price the sounds quality is very good.
Decent sounding mid-to-high range speakers with 3 inches depth
Dan Bear "Dan", Amazon

Summary: I was looking for shallow (about 3 inches with grill cover), inexpensive speakers for background office desk music and to replay recorded meetings. This was what i needed and so I'm happy. I just lean the speakers against the back wall of my desk unit. Sounds fine on "folk music", straight acoustic guitar (very good) and just recorded voice (very good); it's not what you want to play rock music at any volume higher than low levels.
