Summary: Perfect little speakers for when you just want to hide the sound and aren't too concerned about volume and/or bass. I have them in my child's room (tucked under the bed) and they work out great!
Summary: Bought a pair of these Pyle 4" speakers for only $16 from Amazon (returned package) and I'm perfectly satisfied with these as rear speakers for my surround sound system. These are definitely limited in the range (lacks deep bass) but for a single 4" speaker I wasn't expecting much. For rear speakers they blend in nicely with the rest of the surround sound system. They also look good, as I only wanted white since these are mounted to a white ceiling.
Great sounding speakers for just being 4 inch cubes

Summary: I got these speakers to use for a small stereo HiFi system. They are attach to a small stereo amp with 20 watts per channel. the sound is great for the area in which I am using them. They are clean looking and fit well on the bookshelf or window seal. These speaker are a great buy!
Summary: These are nice little speakers. I was not expecting Bose or anything like that just decent good looking speakers for the rear on my surround sound. These do the job, are white and blend in nicely without looking like bulky speakers or once that attract attention from the rest of the things in the room.
Summary: I can see how people might be disappointed in these speakers. If you put too much through them, they distort and cant handle bass for beans in a wide open room. But for my application they work great I wanted to custom wire some music into my bathroom and these things weren't giant bulky speakers and the bathroom they were going in was small. I used the Lepai LP 2020A mini amp and it works great.
Summary: I'm using these speakers for my computer with the cheap 20w Lepai LP-2020A+ amp that is popular on Amazon. I've only played them a few hours at this point so I can't comment on sound after break-in. At the moment the sound is muddied, treble is surprisingly soft and the mid/low end is rather boomy. Seems that they can get quite loud, though. Could I have done better with $50 spent on a 2.0 computer speaker setup (compared to speakers + amp + cords/wires)? Maybe.
